Escape from the now
When all those dark shadows killed the light
The sun was going down forever
Fighting to break free
You found a route that led away
I must leave
Terrifying thoughts sweep my mind
But I can't let my fear show
I escape, I run
The further I go the less hope there is
As I push through the darkness
I reach out for you
I need a sign
Suddenly light, expanding into a human form
There you are
