DW gets Grounded
DW does something bad. Even more than Arthur. And gets grounded for 2 weeks. Arthur changed time so it is like he was never grounded at all. See what she does to get grounded. And who she tries to pin it on. It is another day at the Read house. Arthur is watching a movie in a theater with his friends. DW broke a vase on purpose.
"DW, did you brake that?" said Mrs. Read, "I hear, it broke."
"Arthur did it!" said DW, 'I saw, hi do it."
"He, is not at home," said Mrs. Read, "I see, it broke. Explain yourself!"
"Then ,it was Pal," said DW, "It, was him."
"You, are grounded for a week for breaking it," said Mrs. Read, and another week, for lying twice to me."
"But mom?" said DW, "It, was Pal."
"It, was you," said Mrs. Read, "2 weeks grounded, it is."
DW hates getting grounded. She got herself in trouble. For breaking that expensive vase. Is why she is grounded. Arthur got home with DW looking mad and sad. He wonders what happened. So he will ask his mom.
"Mom, what happened here?" said Arthur, "Why, DW, is sad and mad?"
"She is grounded," said Mrs. Read, "For, breaking that expensive vase."
"I was, wondering why i didn,t see it," said Arthur, "And, why DW is sad and mad."
"Yes, that is why," said Mrs. Read, "Why, she is grounded for 2 weeks."
DW needed to be grounded for it. Or she could do that again. She needs to learn her lesson.
"Mommy, i did break it," said DW, "I can, see why i am grounded."
"That, is good to hear," said Mrs. Read, "2 weeks, is not very long."
"That, i know," said DW, "I am, going to my room."
