Opening the door to his office with the stealthiness of a cat, Kara was unsurprised to see the new Count of Greede slumped over his desk dead to the world. Still, she had to give Caesar credit where it was due, he had changed into quite the responsible man from what she had seen since moving in with him at his bequest- not that she needed it to begin with.

Time and time again she had wondered whatever happened to that obnoxious flirt whose eyesight was always looking down at girls' chest rather than their eyes? That kid who was so aloof, laidback and treated their adventure like a simple trip away from home? She knew she had been gone for almost a year but, Kara could not help but wonder if more time had passed or the Caesar she knew today was just an imposter or something.

Making her way to the Count's desk, Kara gently flicked Caesar's ear and was greeted with the young man sitting upright you would have thought she or Eldore had just cast an ice spell on him.

Blinking owlishly at her and his surroundings, Caesar took all of two seconds to realise why the femme fatale standing before his desk. He had promised to take her out to her favorite tavern after he had finished going through his evening paperwork and had decided to briefly rest his eyes after finishing it all early. Unfortunately, it had been enough to take a trip to dreamland before he realised it.

"Damn...Sorry, Kara." He apologised rubbing tiredly at his eyes. "Don't worry, I'll-"

"Not bother finishing that sentence." Kara cut over him smirking as she watched the Count close his mouth with an audible click. "I think it's time you stopped being so selfless and be selfish for a bit. Ever since coming here you've done nothing but work or spend time with me. When was the last time you spent some time being the aloof man I had fallen for?"

She meant every word of it. Caesar had either been working on making Greede prosper, making

his people were looked after or treating her like she was of royalty not a mere orphan from a time millenia ago. Not once, since she moved in, had she seen him take time off for himself or even rest up properly spending most days in his office or in meetings.

She knew she had joked to Yulie about Greede lasting a year but, if Caesar kept this up, he would be the one lasting a year before passing on.

"Now, instead of apologising and saying you'll make it up to me, you will just lie down and relax and let me do all the work." She told Caesar.

Watching as she walked round his desk, Caesar had no clue what Kara was going on about. Then he felt her hands knead into the knots in his back and suddenly felt himself turn to putty. It was so relaxing yet stimulating, the poor young Count did not know whether to go back to sleep or sling her over one shoulder and make for the master bedroom.

Sadly, before he could come to a conclusion, Kara had ceased her administrations and had walked off leaving him pouting as he stared unabashedly at her derriere.

"How about, instead of looking, you come and take it?" Kara suggested giving the Count such a smouldering look he almost lost it there and then. "Perhaps after you wash that ink off your face."

Blinking in confusion, Caesar brought a hand to his face and brought it away to see blue ink on his fingertips.

"Don't keep me waiting, Count Drisdal." Kara purred as she left leaving Caesar scrambling and falling over himself as he tried to find the nearest washroom.
