A devil went down to Nosgoth
He was looking for a soul to steal
He was in a bind
'Cause he was way behind
He was willing to make a deal
When he came upon a young vamp
Wielding a blade and making deadly cuts
And Hash'ak'gik jumped on a Pillar stump
And said, "Son, let me tell you what."

"I guess you did not know it,
But I'm a sword fighter, too.
And if you care
To take a dare
I'll make a bet with you.
Now you fight a good battle, boy,
But give a Hylden his due.
I bet a blade of gold
Against your soul
To say I'm better than you."

The vamp said "My name's Kain
And it might be a sin.
So, I'll take you're bet
You're gonna regret
'Cause I'm the best that's ever been."

Kain oil up the Reaver
And practice your moves hard
'Cause Hell's broke loose in Nosgoth
And Hash'ak'gik deals the cards
And if you win you get this bright blade made of gold
But if you lose the Hylden get your soul.

Hash'ak'gik unsheathed his sword
And said, "Let's start this show."
And fire flew from his fingertips
As he gave his steel a go
Sparks jumped from the metal
As armor and blade met
Then a band of archers joined in
And the Hylden thought he was set.

(Sounds of archers being impaled and falling off ledges)

When the archers were beat Kain said,
"Well, you're pretty good, old son
But stand back in that stance right there
Let me show you how it's done."

Fire on the mountain
Run, boys, run
Hydlen in the house of the Sarafan
Raziel in the Reaver
Taking in souls
Janos, have we won yet?

Hash'ak'gik lost his head
It was clear that he'd been beat
And the golden blade fell
To the ground at Kain's feet
Kain said, "Just come on back
If you ever wanna try again.
But I told you once, you son of a bitch
I'm the best that's ever been."
