My first attempt at slash, not the slash that has sex in it, but my first attempt writing something dealing with it and only it. I hope you like it, its Eric telling the short story (I know) but he doesn't say it's him telling the story.

It's always been Cory and Shawn, Shawn and Cory. Best friends, all through elementary school, high school, and college.

All through Cory and Topanga's marriage, it's always been Cory and Shawn.

Topanga and Angela were in the crossfire, they were in the way, and they were the reason it took Cory and Shawn so long to see.

Ten years, ten years and two kids later, Cory saw;

Ten years, ten years two failed marriages, a kid from each, and Shawn saw;

Topanga and Angela had seen, seen that Cory and Shawn were more than just friends. However they played along, hoping that they could change the fact.

But you can't change what had always been, you can't change what would forever be. Two kids and a ten year marriage along with a note from her husband, to there six year old daughter and a four year old son told all that needed to be said. Topanga should've known, she did know but she tried to change the fact.

However, like I've said before you can't change facts, you can't change what had always been.

Tenn. years, ten years, two marriages and a child from each. At first, marrying Angela seemed like a good idea, especially after a year of marriage and Angela and Shawn had a son. When Shawn was hell-bent to be the best father in the world, the best husband, the best at everything. Even when the marriage of Shawn and Angela was over, even when they had remained friends for the sake of there son, and when Shawn had married Marie. Out of a three year marriage, nothing was gained but a daughter, but Shawn still was the best father any kid could ask for. It was cute to watch Chet and little Amber play in the green grass of what used to be Shawn and Angela's front yard.

However, Marie also got a note; she also tried to change the fact.

Now Chet and Amber play in Cory and Shawn's yard, and sometimes Cory's children come over and play along with the other two kids. Sometime in the future, the kids will ask why there daddies live together, and not with there moms like other children live with a mom and a dad. And, Angela, Topanga, and Marie will try to explain, but they won't be able to change the fact.

You can't change what had always been, you can't change the fact.
