QUEEN MARY.

King Henry chose Mary, and Anne isn't the only one who wants revenge.

(The conversation between King Henry and Anne is reversed in this - because I can't see any man being as blind as he was in the movie.)

PROLOGUE.

The Duke of Norfolk, Sir Thomas, and George arrived in Mary's bedroom, and stared anxiously as the labour began in earnest.

Sir Thomas looked at George, "Does the King know?"

"He's on his way." Anne, who overheard this, surreptitiously adjusted her dress.

Mary screamed in agony. The labour was well and truly under way, as the king arrived with several courtiers. "Any moment, your Grace." Sir Thomas told him.

Anne stepped up to the King, "My Lord."

King Henry stares ahead at Mary's bed, ignoring Anne completely.

"My Lord, I love you."

Glancing at her, Henry shook his head, "This is not the time."

"I love you my Lord," Anne pleaded, "I cannot stop thinking about you. I cannot eat, I cannot sleep-"

"But how could I ever trust you?" The King asked, staring at Anne in contempt. "When I have seen how you have betrayed your sister."

Her eyes wide, Anne shook her head. "I have done no such thing Your Grace," she said in shock.

"Your Sister lies in bed giving birth to my child, and you are more concerned with trying to win my affection." The king shook his head, "I am no fool, Lady Anne-"

With a final blood-curdling scream, Mary finally gave birth to her child. Sir Thomas and Norfolk crowded into the room, anxious to see.

The Physician smiled broadly,"A boy!"

Sir Thomas turned towards Henry, beaming with happiness. "It's a boy, your Majesty. A strong, healthy boy."

Henry's eyes filled with joy. This is what he had waited for. A son! He looked into the bedroom to see mary holding their baby; her face shining with joy. Smiling, he strode into Mary's room.

"My lord," Mary smiled at him, "We have a son."
