It was a warm day in Magnolia. Not too hot, just warm enough so that Natsu could feel a gentle breeze in his pink hair. It was a perfect day for most, and although Natsu would usually prefer it to be really hot, he was actually enjoying the weather. He had just arrived at the Fairy Tail guild hall, and was actually disappointed to not be outside any more. He sighed. Looking over to his left, his blue companion Happy was already deep in conversation with Carla. As his eyed scanned the hall he found the person he was looking for.

"Hey Gildarts! Come over here and fi-"
"Natsu."
"Not now Lucy, I'm busy! Gild-"
"No. I need to talk to you now."
Natsu sighed again. "Fine. But only for a second."

After this reluctant agreement, Lucy proceeded to drag Natsu to a somewhat empty corner of the hall. "Okay Natsu, listen up, 'cause this is really important."
"What could be so important that you stop me from fighting?!" He pouted.

Lucy looked into his eyes. His big brown eyes that sent made her race a million beats a minute, that made her cheeks flush a bright scarlet every time she dared look into them.

She'd completely forgotten what she was going to say.

She'd gotten lost in his beautiful eyes and her mind went completely blank. "Well?" Natsu was starting to get impatient. "C'mon Lucy, I don't have all day!"
"I.. Uhm... I just needed to tell you that..."
"What? What do you need to tell me? Can you hurry up at all? Just because you're beautiful doesn't mean-"

Natsu's eyes went wide with shock at what he had just said.
"Wait, what? Did you just say that I-" She stuttered, almost as shocked as Natsu.
"What?! NO! Uhm... I mean... Well, I didn't mean it, why would I say that? It's crazy!"
Lucy's eyes dropped in disappointent.
"Oh..."
"What's wrong?"
"Umm... nothing. I mean, I just, I... I don't remember."
Natsu grinned. "That's okay."

There it was. That smile. That smile that jumbled her thoughts and made her whole body quiver.
"Natsu..." She couldn't stop herself. She knew she has to stay calm or Natsu would think she was acting strange, but she couldn't stop herself from calling out her name.
"Yeah?"
Once again, she had nothing to say, but looking at his cute smile and huge chocolate eyes, she just couldn't stop herself from giggling at how adorable he looked, a huge smile spreading across her face. She didn't know why it made her laugh, it just did.

He stopped. Lucy really was beautiful.
"Lucy... Your face."
"What are you talking about?"
"It's... beautiful."
"What?!"
"You're beautiful."
"Wait-"
"Lucy Heartfelia, you are an incredibly beautiful person and I am in love with you." Both Natsu's and Lucy's cheeks turned as pink as the dragon slayer's hair.

"I... I just remembered what I was going to tell you."
Natsu looked up. "What?""
"I love you too."

And then they kissed. A wonderful kiss filled with new thoughts and infinitive amounts of love, dragging them both into an endless abyss of happiness.

Lucy is a bit OOC but oh well. :P x
