Someone stay my hand, give me one last day under the sun, say that I don't have to, say there's another way, someone stay my hand. Take away my weapon, make me stay the same, say that I don't have to die, say there's another way, someone stay my hand. Tell me that you care whether today is my last day, tell me not to take the dare, that this future was never my lot, my heart is far too mild, keep me away from all this war, I am still a child, someone stay my hand. Take me back to before, don't make me kill, give me something else to do, give me a childhood for god's sake, just let me live, lay away my worries, make them go away, someone stay my hand. But you give me a reason, to kill, to cheat, to lie, to die, I've always understood, I could always see, the plan was just to lay me low, there is no one left to stay my hand, so there's nothing but to just let go.
