It was a stormy night. Wind howled, thunder crashed, and rain poured down on many households in the Shinginshina area. But the Worst noise wasn't being caused by rain, but rather by a small child. Eren Jaeger, only a few months old, was bawling his eyes out, most likely in fear of the storm. A woman entered the room. Carla Jaeger, Eren's mother, approached the small crib her son was lying in. She bent down, picked up the small baby, and began to comfort him.
I remember now
Like it was yesterday
She would hold me close
And then I'd hear her say
"It's okay Eren," Carla said in a soothing voice, "I'm right here. shh... I'll stat as long as I need to." Eren snuggled closer to his mother, he had stopped crying but was now a sniffling mess. She attempted to place the child back into the crib, only to be stopped by a small whine. She looked down at Eren, His bright turquoise eyes looking right back at her.

"You want to stay with me, huh?" She asked, the small brunnet infant still staring at her in an inoccent way. Carla gave out a small laugh and walked into her own room. She layed down on the bed, Eren snuggling more into her arms, drowsiness taking effect.

"It's okay, Eren...I'll always be there for you." She whispered. Carla kissed the childs forehead before drifting off to sleep herself.
