I am so freaking happy that there is finally a Sym-Bionic Titan category! I have been waiting for one since BEFORE the show even premiered! So here's a fiction based off episode two about Lance's thoughts as he's getting the snowglobe for Elana. Enjoy and I own nothing. I know it's really short... I just wrote it because it has been on my mind and so I'm sorry I'm not working on Twisted Roses. Oh and Sabrina... Here's to you! Sorry it's so brief.
The store closed almost 3 hours ago, no thanks to him. Lance looked forlornly around the desolate, devastated mall. Even though he didn't want to admit it out loud, he was kind of upset he had made Elana so mad. He wondered around the dark mall untill he found what he was looking for. A small snowglobe with a tiny castle inside. Elana had been looking at it later and Lance knew she was reminicing about home. Looking at the fragile thing, Lance could see how it would remind her of home back on Gala-Luna. He took the snowglobe from it's place on a shelf and silently left the store.
He slowly made his way through the night streets back to the house he was staying in with Octus and Elana. The sounds of the night sounded hostile to him but he did his best to pay them no mind untill a voice brought him up from deep thoughts. "Ummm... excuse me? Could you help me?" Lance looked at the voice talking to him. He could make out feminine features in the dim streetlights. "My names Sabrina and I think I'm kinda lost... well... scared anyway. Do you think you could walk me home?" Lance was puzzled by the request but complied. "Sure I guess. I'm kind of in a hurry though. Do you live far?" She shook her head. "Just down the next street and to the right."
Sabrina began to walk and Lance followed, uncertain and on edge. "So that's a pretty snowglobe you got there. Did you get it for anyone special?" Lance was silent as he thought why he was really getting the snowglobe. "Uhhh... yeah... no." Sabrina gave him a chuckle. "Well tell me about her then. I'LL tell you if she's special or not." Lance felt that he could be open with Sabrina so he began to describe Elana. How she always had something gentle to say and she never resorted to violence if she could avoid it. He talked about how strong and brave she was and before he was aware of what he was saying, he was talking about how she walked with a gentle sway of a dancer and how her voice reached his ears like an Oracion courus. "Really? She sounds beautiful. But, you wouldn't be able to describe her like that if she wasn't special to you... right? Besides, look at the engraving on the globe. Well, this is my house. Thanks for walking me here."Lance bid her good-bye and back tracked to the house. What did she mean by engraving? He looked on the bottom of the snowglobe and could make out faint words in the moonlight.
Never could I truly describe your beautiful crystal heart. You're always in my thoughts.
Lance did a double take at the engraving before allowing a blush to creep to his face. Although he could be crass, bold and impulsive...
Those words souned just perfect to him.
