So, this is for Nomadic Defender for guessing correctly with Tangled Red Threads. It took a while due to my exams, but here it is.

Threads Unravel
Sweden sat in the meeting room, hearing the drone of the other nations but not listening to them. His eyes were focused on only one nation.
He wasn't sure how it had happened, but after the world meeting that took place three months ago, he couldn't get her out of his head.
It was strange. He had always thought that he loved Finland, but… There was something about the Asian that intrigued him and made his heart soar.
She glanced over towards him and nodded, looking back to whoever was speaking. Vietnam didn't appear to be bothered by his staring at all. Nor would she find him intimidating when he would attempt to speak with her, especially if she was the one that would come over to speak with him.
She also didn't seem to have a problem understanding his accent, something that even the other Nordics had trouble with from time to time.
He didn't understand why it had happened. Before the fateful meeting months ago, he wouldn't usually be paying attention to any of the Asians, especially not one of the females. But now…
He sighed, looking around the room. Many nations were around those that they didn't spend any time with before, and they seemed very close. Too close to just be friends. It was clear when looking at the other Nordics.
Denmark had been spending a lot of time with Macau, which unfortunately meant that he had gotten better at gambling, being better at maintaining a poker face than even Norway. Of course, the rest of the Nordics had suffered from it.
Iceland had been spending a lot of time with Hungary, and Mr Puffin had even started sitting on her shoulders during meetings. In the beginning it was weird, but now it had become normal.
Norway and Cuba were also spending a lot of time together. Norway would go to Cuba when his own weather was starting to feel too cold, and Cuba would go to Norway when his weather was too hot. And neither of them complained about the arrangement, or how sudden the other could sometimes appear.
And then there was Finland. He had been spending a lot of time with Ukraine, and whenever the subject of the busty woman would come up, he would blush and try to change the topic.
Sweden had thought that he would be upset that Finland had apparently moved on after their breakup, but surprisingly, he wasn't. He was actually happy for the Finn.
But that still meant that he was the most distant to his new… could it be friend, or potential lover?
"Hey Swe," Denmark whispered, pulling the Swede from his thoughts, "are you just going to stare at her, or are you actually going to ask her out?"
Sweden might have blushed, if he wasn't Sweden. But he noticed that the other Nordics, as well as their new 'friends', who were sitting with them, were staring at him.
"Maybe," he said, turning to the argument at the front of the room, which was between England and France, with the subject of the argument apparently being India.
A few minutes later, Germany announced that they would be having a break, and many other nations sighed in relief. Most nations went off in pairs, while some went to join others.
Sweden sighed, before he went over to Vietnam. She was watching Thailand going off with Northern Ireland, but when she noticed the Swede out of the corner of her eye, she immediately turned to give him her full attention.
"Hej," he greeted. "Would you like to grab some lunch with me?"
She nodded her head, and her lips seemed to twitch.
"I thought you'd never ask."
