"Comment peux-tu la mettre dans un tel danger?!" Elsa cried out. "Qu'est-ce qui empêche que cela se reproduise?! Ta malédiction pourrait encore la blesser!"
How could you put her in such danger?! What's stopping that from happening again?! Your curse could hurt her again!
She was pacing, speaking to herself with more force and volume than she had intended. That said, her words were entirely in French, leaving Anna completely in the dark as to what exactly was on her sister's mind.
It was obvious that she was feeling tense and highly distressed about something, though. If it weren't clear enough from the way she moved and spoke, the sharp ice protruding form the wall and the fact that she was speaking French in front of Anna was evidence of that — typically she stuck to English, knowing that was what Anna understood.
"Tu es une imbécile! Tout ce que tu fais c'est blesser les gens! Et tu penses que tu mérites de l'amour?! Tu n'est rien de plus qu'un monstre!"
You are a fool! All you do is hurt people! And you think you're worthy of love?! You're nothing more than a monster!
"Elsa…" Anna tried, reaching out to her.
"Ne me touche pas!" Elsa exclaimed, pulling away. Don't touch me! She moved farther from Anna, but remained caught up in her thoughts and continued to insult herself. "Tu es dangereuse. Elle est mérite beaucoup plus. Tu est un fardeau pour elle et rien de plus! Rester loin d'elle — lui permettre être heureuse! Elle est en danger près de toi!"
You are dangerous. She deserves so much more. You are a burden to her and nothing more! Stay away from her - let her be happy! She is in danger near you!
"Elsa!" She hoped that calling her name would bring her back from the thoughts she had fallen into, but it didn't seem to work. Her sister was saying bad things about herself, she just knew it.
"Pourquoi est elle avec toi? Qu'as tu fait à tromper cette fille?! Jamais elle ne voudrais t'aimer si elle savait quel monstre tu es."
Why is she with you? What have you done to fool this girl?! She would never want to love you if she knew what a monstret you are.
Anna couldn't just listen to this anymore; she needed to do something. She couldn't just sit around and let Elsa say… whatever she was saying about herself. She called her name once more, and when she knew Elsa was looking at her and wouldn't be startled, she threw herself at her sister, arms wrapping around her tightly.
"Elsa, I love you. Please, whatever you're saying… listen to me. It's okay. You're not a terrible person or any of the things you think you are." She rubbed little circles into Elsa's back, hoping for it to calm her; she could feel her trembling with emotion. "Je t'aime," she said softly. It was the only French she really knew. I love you.
But something she said got through to her, it seemed, as Elsa returned the embrace, face in the crook of her neck. "Je ne te mérite pas," she murmured against her, holding back tears. I don't deserve you.
Not knowing what Elsa had just said, past the fact that it was in French, Anna could only assume she was still upset. "It's okay. I'm here."
She started to cry. It took some time for her to calm, letting the fear, sadness, and self-deprecation fade. When she did, though, she kissed Anna's cheek. "Je t'aime aussi. I love you too."
She smiled with relief, understanding that sentence. Knowing Elsa was okay again.
