"We're alike! We're the same!" The eerie, but high-pitched voice echoed through the utter pitch darkness of the mansion hallways.
"A-Alois...?" He frightfully asked, as if he would get a logical answer for such a random occurrence. Staring carefully at the dark hallway, Ciel was shivering, it was unusually cold, almost as if it were snowing inside of the mansion. But was it because he was cold? He took a short, light step forward and fell down. Fell down to that utter darkness. Trying to latch onto something, he failed miserably, falling down and down to the endless darkness.
"My lord?" The deep, silky voice had awoken Ciel, followed by light but stalky footsteps of his butler, Sebastian.
Ciel slowly and carefully opened his eyes, the usual pure blue and his marked eye, a dark thing that was still beautiful. He was afraid that it would still be that horrible darkness, followed by that voice. That voice... But, It was only a dream. A nightmare, to be exact. Ciel was used to the nightmares though, they were not like anything he had before. Like horrific memories of the past, this, was different.
Sebastian smirked as he had watched Ciel awaken. Watching maybe like a mother lion over his cub, but the cub also ended up being the prey. Oh, what a twisted relationship the master had with his butler. Sebastian peeled off his semi-sweaty covers off him, and opened the curtain from behind him.
"You really shouldn't sleep in, my lord. It's horrid for your health." Sebastian stated like he actually cared for something so petite. As he walked to the other side of the bed, he professionally picked up a fancy, china tea cup from the tray on the night stand, also in it, was his breakfast that consisted of scones.
Ciel felt unusually dizzy and quickly looked away from the light, annoyed that it was glaring down at him from the wide window.
"Close that damn window." He ordered, before pulling the sheets over his head again.
Sebastian was always amused by Ciel, he laughed under his breathe, holding his gloved, pure white hand against his mouth.
"My lord, now is not the time to be grumpy. You have a gathering today." He informed, uncovering him once again with his free hand.
Ciel growled, he didn't want to go nor, did he was to even get out of his own bed, let alone meet with other unintelligible people, talking about unimportant things about the candy or toys his company was making. After a couple of minutes, he sat up, unamused by the butler's bloody smirk on his face.
"Wipe that smirk off your face, Sebastian." He hissed, putting his hand over his right eye.
Sebastian handed him a tea cup, and smiled evilly, unintentionally looking playful.
"I will if you get up." He replied teasingly, as if he were playing with a mere child, and grabbing his eyepatch.
Ciel bit his bottom lip and glared at Sebastian. He angrily threw the sheets away and stood up angrily, trying to maybe pull a point. His eyes widened, his balance was off and he started to fall forward, he quickly reached out as a reflex and latched on Sebastian's arm and for stability, his face was frightened by the small heart attack .
Sebastian, surprised by what had just happened, held onto Ciel, planning for the rest of the day of what his Master should end up doing.
