John Cena-Lita pairing
This story takes place on the night of Unforgiven 2006.
This is a different version of how John Cena won the title.
I do not own any of the WWE characters.
Both John Cena and Edge have been battling hard in this Tables Ladders and Chairs match. The prize that hangs twenty feet about the ring, the WWE champion, with the Rated R spinner, is up for grabs.
The tall ladder set up just under the belt.
Lita had just came out as both men were on their backs.
They fought back and forth. Many people expecting Lita to intervene. But she just stood there outside the ring. Maybe she's just waiting for the right time to take out John, and help edge retain the title.
Both men were struggling to crawl over to the ladder.
They started climbing the over sized ladder.
Both men got to the top, and started landing punches to each other.
Lita then slid into the ring.
Everyone is expecting Lita to go after John Cena. She's just stands there for awhile.
Then the unthinkable happened.
She lands a low blow on Edge! Everyone in the crowd was stunned. Even John Cena seemed flustered.
He then had Edge on his shoulders, and does an FU, and Edge goes crashing into the stacked tables.
John looked down at Lita, who was just standing there with a blank stare.
John unsnapped the belt, and he became the new WWE champion.
He continues to stare down at Lita, who is now standing outside of the ring, expression unchanged.
John Cena began his celebration, though he still felt uneasy as what happened at the end of the match.
Later that night.
"I'm with the new WWE champion, John Cena." says backstage interviewer Todd Grisham. "After a grueling TLC match. You won back the belt after Lita shocked us all by turning on her longtime boyfriend Edge. What are your thought?" he asked.
"I still can't believe it. Not the fact that I'm the champ again, that I believe." John said. "What I still don't believe is that Lita would do something like that to Edge. I just don't get it. I thought with everything they've had for the past year, I just-" he stopped when he saw Lita standing there.
She walks up right to him, not saying anything, expression unchanged.
John stood there dumbfounded, waiting for Lita to say something.
Then it happened.
She reached up, placed her hands behind the back of his neck, pulled his head down, and pressed her lips against his.
The crowd went wild. Some cheering, while others were outraged.
After they were done, Lita pulled back. John had a shocked look on his face, while Lita was grinning ear to ear.
