AN - Um so I got this idea somehow and I'm not expecting to write more of this fic since it's just a horrible little one-shot. I've got one thing to mention, though. I DON'T like silent readers! Comments are what inspire me.

Raindrops glistened as they fell across New Coventry. The city has been left in poverty and been stolen of color besides the occasional tag left by the Greaser crew. Johnny Vincent stepped out from the bike park. It was dark, so dark he couldn't even see the length of his arm. On a lonely street, gray and dull from the rain, he could see bright flashing lights coming from the police cars racing by. Hal, Norton, Lefty and Peanut came out of the park, their backs hunched to repel the icy rain. Peanut walked in front of the others.

"Sorry about Lola." Peanut interrupted Johnny's thoughts.

"It's not your fault. I don't need that lying slut anyways. Gord can have her." Johnny's eyes stayed glued to the ground.

"Still," Peanut muttered. "I feel bad."

"Not your fault." Johnny repeated then turned around to face the guys. "I'm going to our hangout. You guys comin'?"

Everyone agreed. They knew it wasn't some friendly invitation, but a demand. They started walking down the street, rain just a drizzle now.

"The best thing is to love someone with all of your heart and soul… The saddest part is... when she is in love with someone else…" Johnny trailed off.

"It's gonna be alright, Johnny." Peanut patted his friends shoulder. "You'll get over that broad."

Johnny turned around this time, his eyes in slits. "That's just it Larry, I won't. You just don't get it," Johnny pushed Peanut back. "and you never will. I loved her with everything in me, kid. Don't tell me how I feel because I'll bet everything you've never felt this way about anyone."

Johnny didn't know how wrong he was.
