Hi guys. I'm baaaaaaaack with a new story for ya'll! I'm getting so many new ideas, it's kind of overwhelming! I can't wait to write them and post them on here!

Anyway, I don't own anything. I think you all know that.

"Gingka! It's time to leave!"

"Coming!"

"Hurry up or we're gonna be late!"

"I'M COMING!"

"It's only the first day of school!"

"God!" Gingka came hopping down the stairs, trying to pull up his other sock in the meanwhile. "Didn't you hear me saying that I'm coming?"

"Yes I did. Did you hear me saying you're going to be late?"

Gingka rolled his eyes and then smiled. "Don't wanna leave with a bad mood! Let's go dad!"

Soon they were in the car driving towards school.

"Now Gingka, you remember the talk we had a few nights ago, right?"

"Yep yep! Don't do drugs, don't skip class and those kinds of stuff." Suddenly, the smile slid of Gingka's face. "I'm gonna miss elementary school."

"Well, no matter what, time goes on."

"I know, but… Before it seemed like a long time until high school. Then I was in grade eight and then I graduated and here I am! First day of high school and freaking out."

Ryo smiled. "I remember grad. I felt so proud when you got your diploma. You looked so sharp in your suit. And to think you were the biggest slob on the planet that morning!"

"Hey, that's not nice!"

"But it's true!"

"Anyway, what if I get bullied? Shoved into lockers? Oh no… What if someone locks me in a locker?!"

"Gingka, as long as you hang around with good kids, none of the bad ones are going to bug you." He looked at him. "Trust me, I've been through this."

"But that was back then! And this is now!"

"Hey, why don't you ask someone who's already been through grade nine? Say, for example Kyoya?"

"He's not here. He starts tomorrow."

"Gingka… I know how you feel. But I promise, nothing bad will happen as long as you stay away from it."

"…Are you sure?"

"Positive! Just hang around with your friends, study and have fun!"

"Okay… I feel a little better."

"Good. And remember," Ryo put his hand on Gingka's shoulder. "High school is one of the best times of your life. Enjoy it and make the most out of it!"

"Alright. Well, here I go."

"Good luck."

"Thanks. See you later."

"Bye."

He watched his son push the doors open and walk in. He was walking into a whole new chapter of life.

He felt proud that his son was ready for a new adventure.

He felt scared that someone might hurt him in some way.

And he felt sad, that he was not going to be his little boy forever.
