"Hey love" The Doctor (the human one) said as he walked through the door "Any luck ?"
"No. You ?" Rose told him, rocking their baby, who had just fallen asleep.
"Some. The connection has broken through, but he keeps blocking me out." He told her, despair in his voice.
"Do you think he knows he's doing it ?"
"No. Probably not anyway. We need to tell him about the Master."
"What will happen if we can't get through ?"
"We may have to rebuild the dimension canon."
"No !" Rose said as soon as he'd said it.
"It might be the only way."
"No. I'm not doing that. I'm not leaving our daughter."
"I'll go then."
"Don't you dare. You promised you'd never leave me."
"I'll come back. I promise."
"No. We'll figure out something else. A way that means none of us have to go anywhere."
"Fine. Hang on...." He brought his hands up to meet his temples "I've got him."
