Notes: challenge reply based on the recent rumor of Amy 'Lita' Dumas being in attendance at a Los Angeles house show.

~*~

She wasn't naive enough to think that she wouldn't get recognized, no matter how much she tried to change her physical appearance; people would know who she was … just from her WWE related appearances, be it on television, in magazines or elsewhere. That was enough of a proverbial bullseye.

She also reasoned it could be to their benefit if she tried to make herself look even less conspicuous, maybe throw people for another loop, the former WWE diva intending to wear a D-X hoodie or even the latest version of Cena's.

But, given how quick the rumor mills churned combined with the ridiculously cute pout on his face when she'd pulled out the D-X hoodie...

She knew, of course, that people had seen him in the same hoodie that she was currently wearing. It was his own hoodie that he had pulled from his suitcase and set on the hotel room bed. But they might not know that particular bit of information, unless they were sitting close enough and could pick out the hints of his shampoo or soap. And that was even if they knew what type of shampoo he used and what brand of soap he bought … still, people weren't exactly stupid. Most of the time.

And besides, he'd worn one of her band t-shirts to a public parade … all she was doing was wearing one of his hoodies to a WWE house show. There was a difference... really.

At least she wasn't wearing his Chicago Cubs hat, because that would have really been their downfall. Not that she cared... people were still reporting that she was engaged, after all.

And as far as she was concerned, they could continue to believe that because people would believe what they wanted to believe in spite of the truth staring them in the face … or facts to prove otherwise. It was just human nature.

Even when something was done and over, and should have been left alone...

Shaking her head a little, Amy relaxed further into the seat, hands comfortably in the front pockets of the hoodie; the former diva just catching the wink he'd sent in her direction. She rolled her eyes at the acknowledgement, since they had specifically agreed that there would be no such action.

Just in case, the sensible justification.

But he'd done it anyway and she found herself not caring that he had.

People weren't stupid, after all, and they were bound to put two and two together eventually. But until then, they could continue to speculate and she would continue to act a little less conspicuous when she appeared in public. She'd already had her fill of the spotlight, her fill and then some really, it was his turn now.

And she was more than content to watch from the sidelines.
