Hey! littlesoul7 here, just sayin' hi by sending y'all a one-shot (I think that's what it's called)!
Anyways, I drew a picture (with pencil and paper, making it cooler by default), and then I wrote a quote that didn't exist, then I came up with a story for that quote, so then I wrote it.
So, uh, send me any and all feedback, if you feel the need to flame, feel free, fire is good for an aspiring writer :)
Disclaimer: Though none of the main Warriors characters are in here (no Warriors characters at all, actually, these are all my OC's), I want to say that I d not own Warriors in any way, shape, or form, this is all just inspired by Warriors, and it's wondrous authors, Erin Hunter :)
Blood dripped from a deep cut in Shadow's side, a sharp pain followed, he widened his eyes, and a white she-cat with emerald eyes grinned and tilted her head.
"You're a fool, you know that, right brother?" He stared at her in shock. "How... How could you...?" He winced as pain shot through his newest wound, the smaller she-cat laughed.
"You're not only a fool, you're weak! You haven't the guts to become a Sciala! Only the strongest are accepted!"
Shadow felt tears make their way down his dark-furred face.
"What... Have you... Become...? There was once... A time when... We... We would play down by the..."
He coughed. Fox-dung! She... She really got me... The she-cat's expression changed rappidly from glee, to fury.
"You don't know anything about me! I have become nothing! You see only the truth here! I AM NO DIFFERENT FROM WHEN WE WERE YOUNG! And soon, you will be dead! So it doesn't really matter then, right?"
She seemed to be calming herself down, but nevertheless, Shadow continued weakly. "Breeze... You can't keep lying to yourself... You aren't... You aren't anything like the cat you used to be... You can't try to kill me... An... And then try and... Kill me..."
Breeze backed away, hatred stirring in her gaze.
"Maybe it's for the best... I was weak before! But now, I am strong! You are still weakened by you-"
Shadow lunged at Breeze, desperation making him strong, his claws raked down her chest, inflicting deep wounds.
She simply stood there for a minute, a maniacal grin etched upon her face.
"You are a fool, but you are, perhaps, not weak..."
Shadow stood there, staring at her. "What happened to you..?"
Blood began to drip from her mouth, and her whole body began to blur.
"I now watch as you fade away..." She let out one last bloody cough, and began to fall.
Shadow watched her as the life seeped from her. "I'm sorry..."
Breeze hit the ground softly, far too softly, and a thin crimson vapor escaped her open mouth. 'She's gone... But the demon's not... I... I've failed...'
He stared at the brightly colored leaves falling from the great tree.
'But perhaps it's not all bad... No longer does my sister have a demon within her...'
He began to fall.
'No... I... I've failed... I killed only the innocent, the demon... The demon lives...'
His body hit the ground with a dull 'thud' He stared at breeze, watching the remainder of life she had left seep from her. 'Our blood stains this earth red... But perhaps it really was for the best... I am... No, I was... No better than Breeze...'
With one final sigh, the the life drained from the two of them, and it was finished.
Well, there it is, I hoped you liked it, I know it's short, but I didn't feel like writing more, so, yeah. I made up these to characters or this story in particular, they're loners/rogues/members of another society that I haven't done much with it yet, and that phrase REALLY didn't work, did it?
Oh well, I hope you enjoyed it, and for those of you who read my main story (I forgot what it's called already, but it's the FMA/Warriors crossover), this is me procrastinating while Envy gives me more writers block :)
