"Oh really?" Rebecca asked sarcastically. "All fourteen templars? All by yourself?" she raised a mocking eyebrow, a smirk at her mouth.
"What? It's the truth!" Shaun defended himself but he couldn't help the small smile that touched his lips. Rebecca rolled her eyes.
"Of course. I tooootaly believe you." She peeked over at Shaun's face. His mouth and most of his cheeks lay hidden behind a plaid scarf while his glasses sat perched on his nose. This matched his button up brown jacket and jeans. His ginger hair was tossed in the cool air.
Shaun caught her sly glance and held her gaze. Rebecca herself wore a black beanie with the ends of her head phones sticking out the bottom, snugly fitted over her ears. Her red blazer hid her white shirt but revealed her fingerless black gloves. Her choppy hair was stuck up in a messy ponytail.
Her nose wrinkled as Rebecca gave Shaun a goofy smile. She suppressed a giggle and turned away.
"What? What's so funny?" Shaun pestered. He tried to peer around her face but could only see her cheeks, tinged pink from the cold.
"N-nothing." her shoulders shook with laughter.
Shaun stopped their slow pace and forced her to look at him. "Becca, Tell me." he pleaded. Rebecca gave him a smug grin then pulled him down against her lips by the front of his jacket. Shaun's arms easily slid around her waist and pulled her in closer, curving his body over her's. Rebecca's cold finger weaves their way through his hair.
Only now did Shaun realize that he had been set up. He pulled away to give her a playful stink eye. "You bloody cheater." he accused.
Rebecca crossed her hands that hung over his shoulders. "Did you expect me to play fair?" she smirked.
