One day Gilbert (AKA Prussia) was walking around the world meeting building, when he came across a small cage, where he heard peeping. When he opened the cage he saw a little fluffy baby chick.
"Awwww! Hey there little guy! What are you doing in there?" The little chick said nothing but hopped closer. "Aww! Look at your cute chick face!" Gilbert lifted the chick higher for a closer look, and gave it a little pet. "And you're so soft! I'm going to call you awesome chick, since I'm awesome and you'll be my new pet!" Awesome chick gave a peep in happiness.
"Nein. We are not keeping the bird." Was Ludwig's only answer.
"Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease?" Gilbert begged. "Brother, I can't see what you're doing, remember I had an eye exam?"
"Then I feel sorry for you little brother cuz this chick is sooooooo cute! Feel how cute he is!" Gilbert all but shoved the bird in Ludwig's face. Ludwig reached forward and was met with tiny feathers. A rare bitty smile began to show.
"It is kind of soft." He mumbled. "But it feels a bit cold…" Gilbert whooped in happiness. "Let's go show everyone the awesomeness!" he walked away chanting 'awesome, awesome, awesome…' Ludwig felt the air in front of him. "Brother?"
Gilbert walked around the corner and walked in to Tino (AKA Finland).
"Aww! What a cute little bird!" he cooed. "Isn't he awesome?" Gilbert said proudly. Tino gave the bird a pet. "It melts you heart doesn't it?" the bird peeped. Suddenly tino grabbed his chest "my heart!" and he fell on the floor.
"OH MY GOD I KILLED FINLAND!" Gilbert shouted. "Brother? What happened? I heard you screamed?" Ludwig's voice came from behind him. "NO! You heard nothing!"
"What is all this noise?" Switzerland appeared, the bird gave another peep. "ARGH!" And Vash fell next to tino.
"Is everything ok?" Hungary face poked out from the corner. "Eliza! No!" yelled Prussia but the unmistakable peep was heard by Hungary's hawk-like-ears. "My heart is melting!" and she joined the others. Prussia stood still for a minute before he ran off crying. "Brother wait! I can't run!" Ludwig took off fallowing.
Prussia ran through the building not knowing where to go, the bird chirping the whole way, and with Ludwig surprisingly keeping up.
"Mon ami, running though the halls will not get you any girls. It makes you look desperate." the brothers turned. The bird gave a peep. Gilbert looked up in horror and yelled "Francis, look away!" but France was already falling to the floor. "Oh mon dieu!" he cried. "Brother what in the world is happening!" Ludwig shouted.
"Would you two dumb heads kindly give me an explanation to all this noise?" Austria walked out a room. "I can't practice with all this screaming going on." Gilbert held up the bird. The chirp that fallowed made Austria faint.
Gilbert looked at awesome chick and awesome chick looked back. "You're too cute… too cute for this world. So you have to go...goodbye, awesome chick." He gave the bird one last pat on the head, and placed it in front of a mirror.
The chick let out its last chirp and froze.
