Me: Okay, I'll try writing a Warriors story… but if you don't like it, I don't care! I DO NOT OWN WARRIORS! My OC is in this story… hate OC's? Okay. This is related to events in The new prophecy only!

The sun blazes in the sky, making the lake blood red. The trees whisper, though you cannot interpret anything they try to say. The ground is gone, all you see is endless darkness below you. A fiery pit opens, engulfing you in flames. What could it mean?

Opening her eyes slowly, Spottedpath woke up in the ShadowClan warrior's den, the dim light making her squint into the almost-dark sleeping area. Cats lay all around, either sleeping or awake and slowly moving outside. But she laid down again, her dream too confusing to head back to dreaming, and closed her eyes, thinking. What could it mean?

Shouldn't only medicine cats receive any sort of sign? But the adventure to the sun-drown-place proved that not only they could receive them.

Spottedpath felt like she shouldn't worry, that maybe it truly was just a dream. But what if that was wrong? What if it is a sign of yet another danger, and that she should warn the others? Then she thought better of it… just a dream.

Rainpath, her older sibling, took her from her thoughts by rushing toward her, Rainpath's amber eyes clouded with fear. "I had a strange dream…. Did you have one too? I hope Littlecloud knows what it means! Surely it's just a dream and I'm just pretending… unless he got it too…"

Spottedpath was about to roll her eyes when she realized what her sister had just mentioned. "Wait… describe it to me?"

Rainpath suddenly looked at her in surprise. Spottedpath usually came up with a rude remark when she ranted on and on.

But, like her sister, Rainpath thought better than questioning someone who would listen about this. "Well, the sun made the lake look bloody, and the trees whispered, and the ground is just endless darkness…"

That's all Spottedpath needed to know before she rushed to the medicine cat of the clan.

"Littlecloud! I need to talk!"

Littlecloud stopped sorting his herbs to look and listen. "Did you have a dream like this one?"

She described every detail, and suddenly the tom looked extremely troubled.

Mousepath limped in, complaining about a thorn in her paw, and then overheard. "You know, it could be just a dream! Even if Littlecloud had it too, it must be just a dream… oh… just fix this! It hurts, Littlecloud!"

The tom sighed, and fixed it soon after, watching the she-cat exit. He turned to her once Mousepath had disappeared. "She might be right… but I may need to speak with Blackstar about this one. I could wait for another sign, but it could be best… we'll just have to see. Thanks for telling me, Spottedpath."
