A/N This is an AU prompt based on the movies. I am afraid I picked up part of the first line from a story by Evendim. It isn't a direct quote as far as I can remember, but it seemed to fit so well here.

What is Time?
Time...each moment a coin that can only be spent once and that should be spent wisely, not wasted. Something that once past cannot be recalled. Time past can hopefully be looked back upon with fond memories. Memories less fond should be used as learning tools so as to avoid repeating mistakes. Time should be spent honorably - protecting one's land and one's family. Most importantly, time should be spent with one's family - supporting them and assuring them they are loved.
