Beck/Cat

[Cat]

"Did any of the rest of us get parts?" I asked.

Mr. Sikowitz walked over to me and asked, "Awe, is certain redhead hoping she got a role in teacher's play?" he crouched down next to me, smiling.

I giggled and nodded, "hehehee, She is."

He stood up and said sternly, "Well, she didn't!"

My heart broke. My eyebrows furrowed and my eyes watered. Why did Tori always get the lead? I tugged on my sleeves and pulled them over my hands. I stood up and ran out of the room. I heard my best friend, Jade West, yell my name but I ran until I bumped into someone.

"I'm so sorry Beck!" I said and helped him up.

He wiped his shirt off and reassured me, "It's fine Cat."

He looked at the tear streakes on my face and frowned, "What's wrong? Tell Beck about it."

Beck sat on the steps and patted one of the stairs next to him. I sat down and sighed, "Tori always gets the lead."

"I see. Cat. Listen to me, you're way better than her. Don't tell her what I'm about to say either." he started.

I nodded my head and promised, "I won't."

"Well, you're a better singer than her, you're a better actor than her, you're more beautiful, nice, honest, and amazing. Heck, better than anyone in this whole school, no. Better than anyone in this whole town! Don't listen to what the teachers tell you. Listen to what I'm telling you." he said.

I had butterflies in my stomach, then I smiled. I grabbed him and kissed him. Even thought he was dating Jade, he didn't stop. He put his arms on my waist and I put my arms around his neck.

When we pulled away he confessed, "I love you."

"I love you too."
