Riku was sitting at his favourite place in the Destiny Islands, on the paopu tree trunk. He had just gotten back to the islands with Sora, what after all the fighting with Xemnas. His back still hurt from that wannabe jedi.

Oh, how he was afraid of what was next to come.

As the sun began to set, Riku grabbed a pack of Eclipse chewing gum. It was all he got in reward for helping save the worlds. Again. And if he wasn't there, Sora would have been dead!

Sora didn't deserve those celebrations and presents, if Riku got a measly pack of gum. He popped a piece into his mouth and bit into it. At least they gave him the good kind.

Before he knew it, Riku had put at least half the pack into his mouth. Well, so much for a long-lasting gift. He shoved the rest back into his pocket and stared out to the sea. To think he got his wish of traveling to different worlds, and it made him turn into a sadistic idiot that tried to defeat his best friend with darkness. Then we had Mickey, but that's a whole other story. At least he was home. But would he get to celebrate with Sora?

Well, apparently he would.

Riku blew a bubble with the gum, unaware of the shadow that loomed over him. Before he could do such himself, a finger poked the bubble and popped it. The gum went all over his face. He cleaned it up, then turned around to lay his eyes on the criminal.

"Sora. Why are you here?"

Sora smiled as he sat down next to his friend. "Got bored. Being showered with never-ending gifts isn't as fun as it seems. What did you get?" Riku blew another bubble, showing Sora that gum is what he got. "Oh."

The two sat together, staring at the sunset. Soon after, Sora turned to look at his friend, who was still chewing away. "Hey Riku, can I have some gum?"

Riku looked at him with a small glare. "You've got enough gifts. Go get your own."

Sora frowned. "Just a piece?"

Riku blew a bubble again, this one large in size, and shook his head. His friend smirked as he found a stick. He quickly grabbed it and lightly poked the gum with it. It popped, and spread all over Riku's face again.

"Sora!"

"Aww, come on Riku! Don't be so angry about it."

The silver-haired boy sighed as he raised his hand to once again clean the mess. Why was gum always so messy? It either goes on your face or in your hair.

Before Riku could get his hand to his face, he was pushed to the ground. Sora was on top of him, inching his head closer to a now blushing Riku. He stuck his tongue out and began to lick the mess off Riku's face. When he finished, he pressed his lips against the other's. When Riku let a small moan escape, Sora seized the chance and stuck his tongue in the older boy's mouth. Who knew Sora was so aggressive? Or experienced?

When they separated for air, Sora looked at Riku. He looked like a ripe tomato. "Well, I suppose the mess is clean now."

"Sure is. Thanks for the gum, Riku." Sora stuck his tongue out, showing the gum he stole from Riku.

"Hey!"

The younger one just grinned, and Riku slung an arm around him. "You're so spoiled, Sora."

"Yeah, I know."
