I dont plan to seriously tacke this until I get a good idea of what people think of the idea and made this chapter to test the waters. Dont worry, all that switching from scene to scene won't be a habit. This chapter just introduces where they are in their lives.
Please leave a review about what you think of the idea. Otherwise I'll assume no one is interested and take this down.
I just see all these 'Tony adopts Peter' fics and I hate how they turn Peter into a complete wimp. I decided to try something different with Peter and Anya.
A Hispanic girl with brown hair pulled her knees to her chest while sitting on her bed. The room was inhabited by five other girls who were currently getting ready for school.
She looked to her right where her bed was positioned by a window and sighed.
A brown haired man got out of his somewhat lavish bed and walked across his large room.
He wore only pajama pants as he leaned on the large window that offered a generous view of the city.
With a sigh he closed his hazel eyes in what seemed like sorrow.
Anya Corazon, Wearing a grey hoodie and black jeans, trudged down the stairs of the foster home she was staying in.
Once outside she saw the other five girls and three boys, two of each being younger than the rest, all lined up to get into the van. As a somewhat heavy-set woman led them in, Anya took her position in the line.
Glancing to each side, she made sure no one was looking before walking away and rounding the corner of their block.
Peter Parker, in his black suit, walked out into the lobby of his company's building. He stopped at the doors and peaked out.
A limo driver stood by his vehicle, reading a newspaper and waiting for Peter.
Grabbing a nearby newspaper, Peter hid his face behind it and carefully walked past the driver, vanishing into the horde of civilians walking about.
Anya walked past a hot dog cart. Digging into her pocket, she pulled out no more than three dollars.
With a sigh, she put them back and kept walking.
Peter walked past some kind of yogurt shop he had never seen before.
Pulling out a credit card, he went in and a minute later came back out with a jar of sprinkles he happily dug into.
Anya and Peter both stopped at the same corner, waiting for the light to change.
Being the only other one there, Anya glanced at him. The billboard about Parker Industries caught her eye.
Peter followed her line of sight. With a grin, he slicked his hair back and posed like he did in the billboard, only his teeth were a rainbow of colors from the sprinkles and his hair popped out of place.
She tried to hold it in but a snort of laughter escaped her. He grinned and took one last handful before offering her the jar.
She narrowed her eyes but didn't sense any danger. Taking the jar she dug into it as the two saw the light finally change.
Anya arrived at school and winced.
The heavy-set woman stood, arms crosses, by her van. Anya grinned sheepishly.
Peter arrived at the building where he had a meeting to attend, but winced.
The driver stood, with a stern expression, by his vehicle. Peter grinned sheepishly.
