Hey guys thank you so much for all your support and reviews. This is a story about our favorite jokesters, Mungojerrie and Rumpleteaser. please read and review!
It was just a normal night when everything changed. The crickets were chirping, and the moon was full, but something felt different. Maybe it was the new pearls I was wearing, or maybe it was the bright lights, but ether way, it was different. Mungojerrie was whistling a song he made up, and I was enjoying the clear air and my new pearls. I heard rustling in the bushes and Mungojerrie, being the cautious cat he is, turned around and yelled, "'Oo's there!"
"Relax Jerr, it's jus' a fo'est creature ou' in the woods," I complained.
"OK, bu' le's 'urry 'ome."
We broke into a run and raced all the way to the gate when two cats jumped in front of us. They were larger than Jerrie and I put together. One had dark tabby fur and the other was a red tortoiseshell. They had bright, evil, yellow eyes. Their teeth and claws were sharper than knives, and their faces were covered with scars.
"Wha'dya wan'?" Mungojerrie shouted. The cats did not respond, but kept prowling around us.
"Would ya so kindly ge' ou' the way!" I shouted, hunching my shoulders in an attempt to seem bigger.
"No," one of the cats chuckled.
"Then we'll jus' 'ave ta go through ya!" I hissed and charged into battle. I sliced my claws against the tabby's side and he turned around, surprising me, and tackled me to the ground with one paw on my throat.
"Leave 'er alone!" Mungojerrie growled and ran into him. I got up just in time to slash my claws against the tortoiseshell's belly. We fought and fought until they had us both pinned to the ground by our throats. The tabby was about to slash his paw across Mungojerrie's throat, when the tortoiseshell said "The boss wants them alive, remember?"
"Fine," the tabby grumbled and hit Mungojerrie's head, knocking him out. The other cat then stuffed my brother into a bag. I hissed and struggled against my own captor to try and reach my brother.
"Good night sweetie," the tortoiseshell sneered. He raised his paw and pounded it on my head. I joined my brother in dreamland.
