When I was trying to do my homework this afternoon some ideas for this poem about Voldemort and Bellatrix popped up in my head, and I just had to write it. I know I interpret Rowling's characters a bit freely and I manipulated some facts a bit, but I hope you'll like it anyway. And to the one's who haven't read DH yet (are there any anyway) I want to say that the poem contains some spoilers.
She gave him her heart
-------
She gave him her heart
But he didn't realize it
---
She dreamed about him
Longed for him
Craved for him
Prayed for him
But he didn't notice
---
She did everything he wanted
Fulfilled all his missions
Succeeded all his tasks
Obeyed all his demands
But he didn't notice
---
At the moment she died
He had felt something special
Something he'd never felt before
At that moment he realized
She was someone special
---
Only when she died
He knew he had been loved
And that he'd never
experience that again
But then it was too late
---
She gave him her life
One scream from him
made clear to himself
the feelings he had
never noticed before
---
Only then her blind loyalty
Her worship, her sacrifices
That look in her eyes
The way she spoke
Made sense to him
---
He was so ashamed
so regretful
He hated himself
for being so selfish
that he hadn't noticed her
---
She had always given him
everything
She had always done
anything
whatever he wished
---
Why had he never seen
her affection for him
His most loyal servant
and the only woman
who had ever cared
---
When he passed away
not long after she died
he knew it was because
he had lost her and
would never get her back
---
She had given him her heart
But he realized it too late
---
Why couldn't they have had
more time together
Why couldn't he have told her
he was too scared
to let anyone come close
---
He'd give everything
just to see her once more
and tell her what she meant to him
He'd give everything
to hear her say she loved him
---
She had given him her life
And she would do it again
He had given his life to be with her
And he would do it again
