I wanted to write a romance, see what happens, so here goes! This first part may not have too much plot, I want to have a introduction kind of thingie. It starts in the summer after the 4th book, K? K.

Lavender Brown lay on her bed, staring up at the ceiling. She had a picture of a unicorn right above her bad, and the unicorns in the picture were prancing around happily. She sighed, then got up and walked over to her desk. She pulled out a pad of paper from her desk and a pencil. She walked up the hallway and out the front door, with her paper under her arm and her pencil sticking out the top of her pony-tail at an odd angle. She walked up to a stream, and sat down on a rock. She then pulled out her pencil and started sketching a flower, growing nearby. It looked so peaceful sitting there, growing and sucking up water from the ground. Oh, what she would give to be a flower!

"Oh, who am I kidding. I want to go back. I have to go back!" she said to herself.

She heard a russiling in the leaves nearby, and Parvati appeared from behind some bushes.

"Watcha drawing?"

"How did you get here? You live in back in London!" She said, turning around and looking at her.

"Nice, warm welcome, right Lav?" Parvati said sarcastically. "I have to be back home soon, but I got here by floo powder."

Lavender slapped the part of the rock next to her and scoched over to the right a little, so Parvati had room to sit down.

"So, how's your summer coming?" said Parvati, pulling a bag out of her pocket and offering it to Lavender.

"OK, how about yours?" Lavender replied, taking a Every Flavor Bean from the bag and handing it back to Parvati.

"Oh, I don't know, Padna is getting VERY annoying, with that new boyfriend of hers." She said, taking a bean and popping it into her mouth. She started gagging and spit the bean out on the sand.

"Ew, dog food."

Lavender's POV

Well, we went on like that for about an hour, but Parvati had to leave after she checked her watch and realized that she had to get back to the floo station in five minutes. As soon as she left, I went back to my room and pulled a book off my shelf. Animals A-Z. I plonked it down on my bed and got a roll of parchment. I scribbled out the following message:

I don't know if you can do this-But at 10:00 Monday night, meet me at big cross point. Write back ASAP!

~Lav

PS: Bring your broom!

I was using my Jelly Roll pens I got for my birthday. I had just grabbed them. The blue one was almost out of ink because my dimwit little cousin tried to color in a sky with it. It was Friday now, so I had three nights to wait.

A/N: Sorry that was so short, and I will try to write more soon! Romance will develop in the next part, I promise!

Disclaimer: I own the flower and stream scene. The rest belongs to the aliens that give stuff from disclaimers to there rightfull owners.
