Mates in My Little Muggle Bar
Harry Potter drinks in a little Muggle bar every night. He's been going for a few months now, he sits with his bar mates and chats and drinks and laughs and gets drunk every night. Everybody knows his name, but no body pays it any mind. He just wants to be where everybody is the same.
Harry Potter sits on the sidewalk in a part of town usually reserved for streetwalkers. He drinks their too. His bar closes after midnight and the buses stop at 10. He sits and drinks and laughs with himself and gets smashed. He just wants to be left alone, for no one to know his name.
Harry Potter will drink far into the morning when the sun comes up. When people pass him on the street they pay him no mind, no body knows his name and no body cares. He sits and sleeps and takes a piss. He sits on his own and laughs without a care in the world and by 11 in the morning he makes his way back to little Muggle bar in the little Muggle town to chat it up with his little Muggle mates.
Harry Potter is an alcoholic with no body to save.
Now, Draco Malfoy made it big. He finished school and went into business. He married a respectable women and has yet to consummate the union. He is a successful Malfoy with no fame nor fortune. Lost to the war and with little but his name for money. He sits and Drinks in his own little perfect world for that is all he has.
Draco Malfoy will sit in that same little Muggle bar in a little Muggle town and drink and chat with his Muggle mates. He sits and drinks and laughs and gets drunk. He pays no body any mind. His mates are all the same, Muggle and drunk, like every body else in this bar. He drinks and gets drunk.
Draco Malfoy always gets home by 10. He takes the Muggle bus and gets home drunk and safe to his respectable home and life. He sits on the doorstep and drinks and laughs and gets floored. He sleeps in his own sick and waits for the morning so he can leave his respectable wife and drink in his little Muggle bar in the little Muggle town with his little Muggle mates.
Draco Malfoy is an alcoholic with no body to save him.
A shame Draco Malfoy knows Harry Potters name, for he pays it no mind.
