Merry Christmas! Have some Percabeth!

"Mommy! Daddy! Wake up! It's Christmas!" Luke cried, jumping on the end of their bed.

"Crisas!" Little Zöe agreed.

Percy groaned and covered his head with the pillow. "Five more minutes."

Annabeth laughed and wrenched the covers off of him. "Come on sleepy head. Your mom and Paul are coming over with Cass."

He looked over. "That's not an excuse."

Annabeth gave him a peck on the cheek, "if you wake up you'll get more."

"Evil woman." Percy grumbled, but he was smiling. He sat up and asked, "what day is it again?"

"Christmas!"

"Crimas!"

Percy nodded. "Ah. Right. I remember now." He got up and pulled Zoë into his arms. "Let's go see if Santa has been good to you this year alright?"

"Yeah!" Luke cried, jumping off the bed and rushing into the living room. Percy yawned and followed. Annabeth walked into the kitchen and quickly made some coffee. Percy took a sip of her's and shivered as the heat warmed him.

The stockings were bursting, and there were many presents under the tree. Luke and Zoë dove in, ripping paper off of gifts and occasionally pausing to say thank you.

When they were all done and the kids were happily playing with their new toys, Percy gave his gift to Annabeth. He had gotten her some earrings and some sketching pencils. She opened the gifts and smiled in surprise.

"Thank you, Percy!"

"About that kiss..." he said cheekily. She grinned and kissed him soundly. He had a slightly goofy smile when they parted and she chuckled.

"Here's yours," she said, handing him a rectangular package.

"It looks like a book!" He complained.

"It's not, trust me."

He looked at her dubiously. Unwrapping it, he revealed a scrapbook. "It is a book! You liar!"

She rolled her eyes. "Open it."

He did and a look of wonder spread across his face. Inside were many pictures of their time at camp and as they grew up together. There were some notes from Annabeth, but he found he didn't need them as the memories came flooding back.

There was that time when he and Annabeth had to be partners in a canoe race, Percy hadn't been allowed to use his powers and has complained the whole way. In the picture, Annabeth was laughing as he scowled.

He continued leafing through the pages, there was a picture of them kissing as he dropped Annabeth off in front if her cabin. (Taken by the Stoll brothers he was told.)

Them going to their first date (taken by his mother after she dropped them off in Manhattan.)

Mrs. O'Leary giving Percy a sloppy wet kiss as Annabeth laughed. The next picture showed Annabeth being assaulted as well.

There was the Seven, all of them standing together with Nico and Calypso. (Jason was giving bunny ears to Nico in the picture.)

Percy could go on forever. He looked at Annabeth who was chewing her bottom lip nervously.

"Well? Do you like it?"

He nodded. "Yes. I really do. Thank you from the bottom of my heart."

She smiled and he leaned forward to kiss her.

"Eeewww!" The kids cried.

Percy smiled. He put the scrapbook next to him on the couch and clapped his hands. "Alright! Who wants pancakes?"

"Are they blue?" Luke asked.

"Always." Percy promised.

Well! I'm just full of references aren't I? The other week in my Aftermath story... well then. Enjoy! MERRY CHRISTMAS!
