Patricia's P.O.V.

It was Easter Sunday. I had never really liked the holiday. It had always seemed pointless to run around picking up plastic eggs to find hidden surprises. If someone really wanted to get hidden surprises they should of joined Sibuna. Of course that was back in high school. Eddie and I had been dating for 7 years now and we had a small apartment in Liverpool. Eddie had told me that this year for Easter he had a surprise for me. I decided not to argue and go with his plan. I walked into the kitchen and saw Eddie making pancakes and bacon. I sat down at the table and started eating. After polishing of my 2 pancakes and piece of bacon I decided to ask Eddie what his plans were for the day.

"So Kruger, what do you have planned for us today?" I asked with weariness in my voice.

"An Easter egg hunt," Eddie said with a smile. "I think you'll like this one though. It's a little more Sibuna. Now go get changed and meet me in the park in an hour."

"Ok," I replied half-heartedly. I stood up and walked into our room to get changed. I pulled on some faded skinny jeans a purple top and my leather jacket. I looked at the clock and saw that I still had 45 minutes until I had to meet Eddie. I put on my make-up and sat down on the couch. It seemed like forever, but it was finally time to go meet Eddie in the park. I shot up off the couch and bolted to the door. I made my way to the park and saw Eddie standing there with a purple plastic egg in his hand.

"What is that?" I asked walking up to him.

"Your first clue. There are 4 more of these eggs around town. Each has a clue to the whereabouts of the next one. The last one will hold a surprise." He handed me the egg I opened it up and the slip of paper inside said

"Your next egg lies in the place with all your favorite foods"

I knew exactly where that was. It was a little bakery on the corner. They always had little chocolate cupcakes and cookies that I loved. I ran over to the bakery and saw a little pink egg. I picked it up and popped it open. The little slip of paper in this egg said

"Congrats! You found the second egg! Egg 3 is in a place full of books"

That one was also easy. It was no doubt the library on the other side of the block. I grabbed Eddie's hand and we were off. We turned the corner and I saw a bright blue egg on the steps leading up to the door to the library. I opened this one and the paper said

"Good Job Yacker! Egg number 3! The next clue is where you love to get your coffee in the morning"

I don't think Eddie wanted these to be hard. All of these were all too easy! After thinking about the clue for no more than 2 seconds it was obvious that it was the Starbucks on the next block. As I started to run I looked to my right and saw Eddie smiling back at me. We took of for the café the next egg was a pale yellow one sitting on one of the tables out side. I pulled out the paper and it read

"Well Done! 1 more and your done! The next one is in the field of flowers close to home"

I instantly knew that the clue was referring to the small garden across the street from our apartment building. I was excited to see what my surprise was. I ran as fast as I could to that beautiful little garden. Once I got there, I saw a little green egg in the middle of everything. All the flowers and trees surrounded the tiny plastic egg. I picked it up and looked at he note inside

"Will you marry me?"

My jaw dropped as a I turned around and saw Eddie on one knee holding a small little box containing a ring with a perfect little square black diamond in the middle of it.

"YES!" I screamed as he put he ring on my finger. He picked me up a twirled me around as I kissed him.
