The Inuyasha gang had camped out in a forest with vines and a lot of bamboo and trees everywhere. Inuyasha was out sitting next to a tree looking up at a bigger one surrounded by fireflies. The bugs all danced around the tree making it glow under the full moon and the stars in the skies. Kagome had made dinner and went out to look for Inuyasha while everybody else ate. "Here Inuyasha, I made some ramen for you" Kagome said walking up behind Inuyasha with a smile. "No I don't want any" Inuyasha said with his usual stubborn accent. Kagome made a mad face and said "well the least you could do is say no thank you!" Kagome stared at him then her face softened, she decided to site next to him and then looked up at the tree. "Wow, how beautiful." Kagome got lost in the beauty of the tree then Inuyasha stared at her. He broke his trance then looked back up at the dancing bugs. "They have been at it all night" Kagome looked at him then Inuyasha faced her as well. "I want to get a closer look come on." She got up then grabbed Inuyasha's hand. She ran towards the tree then grabbed one of the vines that was hanging down. "Lets climb these; I want to get to the inside of the tree for a better seat." Inuyasha looked at her confused then jumped up the tree. "Feh, I don't need to climb the vines I could simply jump up here, you're the one who needs to climb." He looked down and saw that Kagome was struggling to climb on the vine so he lend her a hand. "Huh?" she looked up at Inuyasha while he helped her up. "Thanks" she said barely blushing but not facing Inuyasha. They both climbed up together when all of a sudden Kagome slipped and was about to fall from the tree but she felt someone catch her holding her by her waist. She stared down still scared then looked up at her hero. Staring down at her were two amber eyes burning into her eyes. Inuyasha brought her up to the branch where he was standing then held her hands together with his then brushed his lips against hers. Kagome's eyes got wide but then narrowed when she finally accepted his kiss. She backed away then hugged Inuyasha. "I love you Kagome" he said as he hugged her tighter and brought her closer to him. Kagome tightened her grip on his kimono then smiled "I love you too Inuyasha."
Inuyasha sat down on the tree trunk then pulled on Kagome to sit on his lap. Inuyasha was half asleep while Kagome was dreaming with a smile with her arms around Inuyasha. Soon they both fell asleep together on the trunk.
