A/N: OK, when Izzy told Tentomon that he had something really important to say before he left, am I the only one that thought he was going to tell him that he was adopted!?! I seriously thought so, and then he said "I love you" and for some reason I just burst out laughing! I guess it was the way he said it and Tentomons reaction, and the fact that I just wasn't expecting it! Anyway, this poem was inspired by that, and it's Izzy's good-bye poem to Tentomon! Enjoy!

I know that you were shocked

When I said I loved you

But I just had to say it

Cause it really is true


I really do love you

As a good friend

And I can't help but remember

All the time we did spend


Here in this world

That I'm now forced to leave

And we are doing what's right

That's what I believe


But it still really hurts

Having to say good-bye

But no matter how much it hurts

I'll live through it and try


Just to remember

All of the happy times

And even though I have to go home

And leave you behind


I'll still have my memories

To get me through

And I'll block out the bad ones

From before I met you


Because you really did change me

And you helped me to forget

The memories of my past

That I really regret


So when I said I loved you

It was because your the best friend I ever had

I just wish saying good-bye
