Here is the next bit... leave feedback or i wont continue... *evil grin*
Less than 10 minutes later (it's a disease I tell you… a disease)
Phoebe walked into Pipers room holding a tattered bear in one hand. Hearing something, Piper rolled over so she could see who was at the door. "Hey Piper! Prue will be up in a second with the pain killers" Phoebe said, trying to sound as cheerful as possible. Piper nodded in response, pulling herself into a sitting position. Phoebe lingered at the door, unsure of what to do next. "Phoebe?" Piper asked, her brow furrowing as her sister remained at the door. Just then Prue came up the stairs carrying a glass of water in one hand and two tablets in the other. "Hey Piper" Prue said walking past Phoebe, who reluctantly followed after Prue. "Hi Prue" Piper responded, not taking her eyes of Phoebe as she took the pain killers. The painkillers began to take effect, and as soon as Piper had taken them, she began to relax, lying back down on the bed, eyes half closed. "Phoebe?" Piper murmured, her voice slurred by the medication. Phoebe moved forward, but still did not say anything. "Phoebe? … Where are you?" Piper said, her voice more frantic, obviously disorientated by the drugs. "I'm here Piper, I'm here" Phoebe said, reaching out her hand to her older sister who held it firmly. Piper relaxed, closing her eyes and drifting off to sleep. Prue and Phoebe soon followed suit and soon the three sisters were sleeping soundly, worn out by the frantic activity of the past few days.
The next morning
Prue awoke early, and went down stairs, leaving her two younger sisters to sleep for a while longer. She made some cereal up for both her sisters, not pouring the milk in yet, so that they would not go soggy. After this she headed upstairs, had a shower and got dressed (sorry I am not exactly very imaginative at midnight). Feeling refreshed, Prue headed back to Pipers room to check on her sisters. Seeing that they were both asleep, she picked up the book of shadows from the floor where it had been left the last night and headed back downstairs. Opening the book back up to right place again, she proceeded to get the various ingredients for the potion ready, and started to create the mixture needed to vanquish Aikon. A little while later Piper, who was firmly attached to Phoebe's arm stumbled downstairs, her younger sister stumbling after her in her hurried attempts to get down stairs while still holding on to Phoebe's arm along with her also stumbling younger sister. "Hey you two!" Prue said brightly, smiling at the cute antics of her two sisters. "Hey Prue! Woah! What's that smell?" Phoebe asked, covering her nose, Piper remaining silent, just retreating slightly behind Phoebe. "It's the potion thingy for Leo." Prue responded, watching Piper carefully to see what her reaction would be. "Oh" Piper and Phoebe both said. There were a few moments of awkward silence, Piper shuffling awkwardly, looking down, her hand shakily tracing the bruises on her face. "So… what's for breakfast?" Phoebe asked brightly, breaking the silence. "Well… since the cook of the house is out of action at the moment… its cereal, get it whilst its cold" Prue said, pouring the milk into both of her sisters bowls. Piper and Phoebe made small talk, quickly demolishing their cereal, whilst Prue put the finishing touches on the potion, finally pouring it into a small bottle. "All done!" Prue announced happily, placing the bottle carefully down on the table in front of her sisters. Piper took the small bottle in her hands, examining every inch of it as if it was a valuable ancient artifact, not looked upon for many thousands of years. After a little while Piper set the bottle down on the table, looking up at her older sister her eyes filled with a mixture of fear, pain and confusion.
OK, OK I admit it… I talked myself into a corner… I need a day to recover… sorry
