Title: Summer with him

Pairing: France X Canada

Note to People: this was an assignment for school and I changed it from Matthew being out girl to boy. They may be out of character please don't kill me for it.

The sun was starting to set in the sky as it turned shades of pink, orange, and purple with no clouds in sight. It was not dark enough, however, to turn the lights on in Francis' beach house. It wasn't anything special looking with its white paint starting to peel off in places on the one floor building. The black shingles had faded to a light gray color and the porch that faced the water was weathered, turning the previously rich brown-red color of the finished wood a pale apricot color. Francis was standing in the doorway of the French patio doors that were painted the same white color as the rest of the house. The doors were left open to let the warm breeze into the rest of the house.

As he looked out onto the porch he could see his boyfriend, Mathieu, curled up in a light blue painted Adirondack chair. His wavy, shoulder-Length, blonde hair was down to frame his face and his lavender eyes were focused on the book he was reading. He looked at the cover that had a simple style of text, which read, Pride and Prejudice. He smiled a soft, loving smile at the sight of him. He was sitting there with the waves gently rolling up onto the soft tan sand behind him. To him, this was absolutely perfect.

He looked up at him and smiled back just as lovingly. His eyes met his turquoise ones, taking in the sight of Francis standing there. His wavy, shoulder-length hair was pulled back into a short, dark red ribbon, some of it falling out to frame his face. His white button up shirt was completely buttoned up, except for the top two buttons and was rippling across his body with the breeze.

He got up from his spot on the chair and placed the book down. Francis walked over to him and wrapped his arms around the younger's thin waist, his finding their way to wrap around his neck in a brief hug pulling apart slightly, as both of them looked into the other's eyes. He released him from his arms and he did the same to him. Mathieu looked at him questionably, wondering what he was planning to do. His eyes said that he was indeed planning something. He just smiled at him sweetly, looking out to the water that was now stained with the colors of the sunset, the sun sitting on the horizon line over the water.

Francis took his hand in his even though they were far from a perfect match, their fingers lacing together as they walked down the shallow three steps off the porch and onto the soft, tan sand, still warm from earlier that day, their shoeless feet sinking into it with every step they took. The wind was gently tossing Mathieu's hair as the couple walked along the water, and every so often the cool water would cover their feet and he would smile at the feeling. He looked over at him as the Canadian placed his head on the elders' shoulder and he placed a kiss onto his forehead. They both stopped and just watched the sunset together not wanting to say anything and risk ruining what they believed was a perfect moment.

Bon Appétit: so this was a prompt given to us by my teacher for creative writing last year and I'm only just getting around to posting it now so yeah she's kind of romantic E kind of person I'm pretty sure our class gave her cavities with this prompt.
