Brendan and the Music Box

Chapter 1 The House
It's raining... It always rains in this area. No one told me where exactly this place was. Some people say it eats people alive. I didn't come here because of the rumours. I came here to find out about the missing people. What I really want to know is... why do people disappear when they visit this place? Me, May, Max and Brock were supposed to come together. I went alone, for their safety. I knew in the end it was a decision I'm going to regret.
Brendan: Am I going the right way? I feel lost...
Brendan dug into his pockets.
Brendan: Where did I put that thing?
He pulls out a paper.
Brendan: Found it!
He looks at what appears to be a map. He facepalms.
Brendan: Oh! It's just up ahead! How silly of me!
Brendan comes to a house.
Brendan: Better get in fast. It's raining harder.
?: Remember... Curiosity killed the cat.
Brendan: Eh? …I must be hearing things...
Brendan takes a look at the fountain and sees something shining in it.
Brendan: Should I pick it up?
Brendan picks up the item. It's a crowbar.
Brendan: I can pry the door open with this.
Brendan: Better write in my journal...
New Entry
Made it to Home:
I made it to the home. Its raining a lot. Though I get a very eerie feeling... But it's probably the rain. It makes the place look gloomy.
Brendan: Better get inside... Right! Time to open the door.
Brendan pry's the door open with the crowbar. In the process the crowbar breaks.
Brendan: Dang tools. Can't even last for one simple job.
Brendan enters the home.
Brendan: Hello? Is anyone here?
No response.
Brendan: There has to be someone here. I can see a lit room on the second floor. *Sigh* I'll go check it out and then I'll go back and get some tools.
Brendan investigates the room. Suddenly he hears music.
Brendan: Huh? Where's that music coming from?
Brendan finds a music box in the room.
Brendan: Who turned this on? …. Its winding by itself.
*Crash! *
Brendan: Whoa!
Brendan finds something.
Brendan: What's this? A lantern? Hope it still works.
A bright light appears.
Brendan: *Sigh* I guess no one is here. I'll go back and get some tools.
Brendan: This music box is beautiful though. I guess I'll take It no one is using it. There's a card too.
Brendan obtains Music box and Map card A.
Brendan walked down the hall and then saw something on the wall written in a red 'marker'.
Brendan: 'Take the exit?' Why?
?: Its going to be mine. It's mine!
Brendan came to the exit only to find something shocking.
Brendan: W-what? *Gasp* The door! It's gone, how?!
Brendan banged on where the door used to be.
Brendan: If this is a prank you got me. Please let me out!

Brendan: Fine I'll find my own way out! I'll find my own way out...
