Fullmetal Alchemist
Where am I? What lies behind this door?
"Enter alchemist," calls a voice,
And enter I did,
So much I didn't know, so much more I wanted.
Let me back in that's where my answer lies.
The Truth forbid me so,
I had paid my toll,
In equivalence.
A flash of lighting, a child's scream,
Pierce the cold dark night,
Realizations come to light,
A leg, a brother gone from my sight.
I a child alone and bleeding,
Desperation heavy in the air,
Brother! Brother, come back to me!
All I had all that was left was you.
A clank of armor,
Then back to the gate I shall go,
I'll pull you back,
Take what you will, I'll pay my price.
My brother trapped,
My arm, my leg gone,
This is the price for my sin,
Why must he pay as well?
A small glimmer of hope still lingers,
Is it possible to save him?
Might there be a way to reals him,
From my purgatory.
It's there I know it will be,
I won't stop, I won't give up,
Even if it's with my final breath,
I'll make this right for him.
I need a new leg, a new arm,
Give it to me I shall endure all pain,
My suffering is nothing,
Compared to what I did to him.
What I need is the Philosopher's Stone,
Alphonse I promise you, I will return you to the way you were,
And so Edward Elric The Fullmetal Alchemist,
Was born.
