His glorious Hands did unfold
What gifts the future would behold
The coming of His Son foretold
He was so bold. He was so bold
His deeds did tell his walk in life
Give rest to man's internal strife
Bought unto Him, the Church, His Wife
Cut by the knife. Cut by the knife.
The cross our sins He took to bear
His Blood streaked face they did but stare
He cried unto the open air
Forgiveness prayer. Forgiveness prayer.
They did but wait for Him to die
To favor a despiteful sigh
And hear the mourners weeping cry
Could not deny. Could not deny.
To see His rising up again
And yet appear to mortal friends
Go forth to witness, He would send
Love hath no end. Love hath no end.
