Hey guys, it's me, yet again, but this time, ITS AN ACTUAL STORY! (Throws confetti and in excitement, falls over a table) I haven't got any reviews for 'Darkening of the Light', so I've decided to put in another one of my stories I've been working on. AND REMEMBER: REVIEW!
Disclaimer: Do you actually think a poor white girl actually owns LOTR? But I DO own Katrina and any other random characters you may not recognize, as well as the Katrina's background and ethnicity. DON'T STEAL IT, and please, DON'T SUE ME! Because all you'll get is, well, maybe my really messed up car, but it smells funny, so I don't think you'll want it…
Princess Katrina sat by the window as her realm was burning up in flames. A tear slid down her cheek as she saw the little monsters kill her people.
Katrina closed her eyes as more tears fell from her silver orbs. "I told them. I knew this was to come. I foretold this three years ago, and no one believed me."
The door creaked open and Katrina heard footsteps. She opened her eyes and looked behind her. She saw one of her servants, Endy, come up to her in tears, "Mi Lady, the King and Queen! They're…" Katrina looked to him with wide eyes and muttered, "No…"
Katrina ran out of her room and down the grand staircase. She went into the throne room and stopped in her tracks at what she saw.
"Mama! Papa!" Katrina ran and knelt next to her parents. She looked at the torn and bloodied bodies of Queen Katara and King Marquis of Sorcenia.
Katrina's eyes filled with many tears as she leaned over the dead bodies of her parents, her ebony hair falling over her shoulders and into the pool of her parents' mixed blood beside her.
As Katrina cried, visions flew across her mind. Visions of a man being shot thrice with arrows; a cloaked old man; a fiery and lidless eye; and finally they set on a picture of a silvery blonde haired man with pointed ears.
Her visions ceased when Katrina heard deep breathing behind her. "Come Endy. We must escape the palace…" When Katrina turned around, she saw nine cloaked figures. She stood up and looked defiantly at what she thought was the leader.
"I am Princess Katrina Sabine Ravenport, daughter of Sorcenia's King and Queen. I demand that you stop attacking this city and go back to whence you came!" shouted Katrina, a black aura surrounding her.
"We know who you are, little princess. And we shall not leave, until you die." Said the dark man in head of the others.
Katrina gave a slight hiss as her silver eyes glowed. 'Alright then,' she thought. She gave a loud yell and unsheathed her long silver and onyx syber, (AN: you know those long curved swords like they have in the middle east), and flung herself at the intruders. As she ran towards them, she was pushed back and flung at the floor as the fiery and lidless eye from her vision blocked her view of the cloaked forms. It began to speak in a dark and foul language, making Katrina cringe and scream in pain.
As she lay on the floor, a cloaked figure cam up to her, taking out his sword.
Katrina looked up in horror as he raised his sword. She closed her eyes and stopped moving. Katrina waited a few moments before opening her eyes, only to witness the sword plunging into her stomach.
Katrina began crying, but never once screamed as the sword was pulled out of her, stuck back in and then twisted into her flesh.
The brutality stopped as Katrina's body lay limp on the cool marble floor. Her silver eyes were wide and full of unshed tears as her own blood mixed with that of her parents'.
After the princess' death, the nine black riders left that dimension, while their orc minions continued to destroy the city, and kill all within it.
None were alive by the setting of the moons.
