This is my first fanfiction EVER... comments and criticism are welcome :)
Badum.
Eyes wide open in the darkness.
Badum.
Faint moonlight on pale, cold skin.
Badum.
the only sound disrupting the silence of the night; the sound of a heartbeat.
A wisp of wind sent almost invisible shivers through his body as the boy was staring at the few stars visible in the clouded sky.
How long had they been laying here like this? Time didn't exist anymore. Closing his eyes he snuggled up closer to the light body beside him, the other person's long silky black strands of hair sticking onto his damp cheek.
His left hand rose to caress one of the many scars covering the fragile figure and he slightly traced the dark mark on the pale torso. Slim fingers wandered further upwards until they brushed over soft lips, gently wiping away the trace of a dark wet substance forcing its way down from the corner of the slightly opened mouth.
He pressed his face further into the smooth skin of the man's chest, inhaling the scent he adored and had missed for so long.
Moving his stiff limbs, the boy sat up to pull the older one closer to his chest, his arms carefully wrapped around the body.
Neither did he seem to notice the sharp edges of the cold stones pushing painfully into his knees nor the first droplets of rain mixing up with his own hot tears.
A constrained sob escaped the boy's lips.
"Please forgive me."
The younger one placed a small butterfly kiss onto the man's cold forehead.
"I love you." Nothing more but a whisper.
Holding the limp body in his arms he sat there unmoving, surrounded by the remnants of their fight.
With nothing left but a familiar scent lingering in the air and the sound of his own heartbeat.
