All wally wanted to do is see his girlfriend again, as he sat on the couch strocking the dogs head soflty. Its been 3 months since he has seen artemis and he hated it the fact he can not be beside he every day. He hated lieing to his family and all he friends about artemis's death.
Wally rubbed his tierd eyes and look around the appertement that has to many memories of all the moments him and the love of his life have shared in this place.
RING RING! Wally was dragged out of his train of thought and picked up the moblie phone from the coffee table.
"Hello". Wally said with a cracked voice. "Well you sound very happy, babe." Said a sarcasticly familiar voice. "
"Artemis, is that you? Are you ok? Did they hurt you? What are you doing calling me you might blow your cover?" Wally says with excitement and adrenaline, as he held the phone close to the face.
Artemis chucked. "Yes it me, yes i am fine, no they haven't hurt me, i am calling you because i miss you and i am alone so noone will know."
"I miss you too, babe." Wally chokes out, trying not to let any tears fall out.
"How is everyone holding up?" Artemis asked.
"Your mom is depressed and all the team are sad." Wally said.
"I feel so bad." Artemis says with tears falling down her eyes.
"Don't start crying artemis this is not your fault, it is nightwings he made you do it and let you be with all those pshyco paths. I am scared for you." Wally says in a smooth voice to try and get artemis to stop crying.
"It's not nightwing fault, I agreed to it. You should be having a go at me for being stupid enought to do it."
"I can't have a go at you, i love you and it's not like we can kiss and make up if we do argue." Wally says.
"I love you too and i have to go now, i have to go to a meeting with black manta and aqualad. I miss you and make sure you look after your self. Also stop worring about me, i will be fine. Trust me this is not going to be the last time we talk."
"Ok i promise, look after yourself and stay safe. Also i will look after your mother for you."
"Thank you, Bye."
"Bye, Babe."
Wally hears artemis put the phone down, but keeps the phone close to his ear hoping he couls hear her. Finally he put the phone down and sat on the couch think of all the memorise they have had in this place and all the memorise to come in the future.
