So this is a really short attempt at a fluffy Ludding oneshot, don't worry, I don't actually ship people with food. I really like Luna :)
Please review, it means the world of fanfiction to me, ohay?

Luna sat alone, as usual, in her Care of Magical Creatures class, reminiscing the days Harry was still at Hogwarts. Unfortunately, he didn't want to stay and instead opted to join auror training with Ron. Hermione was their friends with him, but she never really understood her like Harry did. As she drifted into her own world, an odd thought popped up in her head. Is there going to be pudding tonight?
As Luna sat at her usual desk in Advanced Charms and watched Professor Flitwick teach the class how to pack luggage instantly, she casually wondered if nargles were watching her from outside, but shook her head to get rid of notion. Of course they wouldn't, they stick to mistletoe, and there was certainly no mistletoe around. Luna then thought about what class she had next. Potions. As she read her timetable, she wondered if there was going to be pudding that night.
During double potions, she brewed a perfect wide-eye potion, and Professor Snape grudgingly awarded her five points. As she sat there, thinking about her dad, who lived alone at home every day. At least he'll have the gnarly-wickets to keep him company. To not think too much about it, she asked the bewildered boy next to her whether he thought there was going to be pudding for dinner.
After lunch, Professor McGonagall asked her whether she could help Professor Sprout with some mandrakes. As the professor was leaving, Luna had one question.
"Will there be pudding tonight?"
McGonagall looked at her for a moment.
"I guess you'll have to find out for yourself won't you?" and with that, she walked off.
As Luna skipped to the greenhouses, she bumped into Neville.
"Hi Neville!" she greeted brightly. "How is your mimbulus mimbletonia?"
"Just fine thanks."
Luna continued to skip to the greenhouses. The first thing she asked Professor Sprout was whether she liked pudding.
"I do dear, I do."
"Oh, that's good. So do you know whether there's pudding tonight?"
"No, and can you please help me with these mandrakes here before all the second years arrive?"
An hour later, Luna had her last class of the day, divination.
"Class, can you please tell me what makes the difference between the tea leaves covering the full cup and the tea leaves covering almost the full cup?" asked Trelawney in her wispy voice.
Luna put her hand up.
"The difference is that the full cup predicts that something bad will happen, but covering most of the cup means something bad will happen, but there will always be hope and happiness through all the problems."
"Very good," Trelawney nodded approvingly. "Is there anything you want me to predict?" as she saw the look on Luna's face.
"Yes, actually. Can you please tell me whether there's going to be pudding tonight?"
The class laughed.
"I will not deal with such trivial matters, when the art of divination could be put to greater use."
Luna looked downcast, nobody noticed. She trudged to dinner, and sincerely hoped there was going to be pudding. She ate her dinner in silence, away from the other girls. When the desserts appeared, she laughed, a tinkling of bells that made people smile. There was the pudding she had been waiting for. She took two small scoops and slowly savoured it.
That night, as she lay in bed, content, a thought popped into her head.
Is there going to be pudding tomorrow at dinner?
So this is it, I hope you enjoyed a short read :)
