A/N: This is a poem on Rose's thoughts about the Doctor. The first part of the poem could take place anytime, but the last I wrote as her thoughts on him while he kisses her in TPOTW. In this case, I chose to have Rose (as she had the time vortex in her head) understand what was going to happen, not only to the Doctor but herself as well. Aka, Rose saw her entire life before her eyes, future included. That being explained, I hope the poem is clearer to understand…and explains why Rose's language is more formal than she would ever speak in real life. Hey, when you've got the vortex in your head, I'm sure your education and language skills are up past genius level!

Hooded

in shadow,

his face

belays

the path of time,

seeking the light,

righting a crime.

He is not alone.

He was and will be

many others;

other men

yet

in

one role.

Though dark may

surround

this man,

whose eyes

are

all emotion,

I won't flee.

In his stormy wake,

I'll always be.

I cannot leave.

I cannot leave whom I now love so well,

despite

the kiss of time,

this isn't farewell.

I'll find him again,

when all of time has stopped for me:

forever at last, we'll always be-

So sleep now my doctor: I'll come to thee.

Okay, if you feel so inclined, I would love a review! Feel free to say it's horrible, feel free to say it's so-so, feel free to say you liked it! All reviews are welcomed! (And don't even try to get out of it by saying you have to log in first and it takes too long…or that I already have one review, or five, or whatever number….I don't mind at al! The more the merrier!)
