MISUNDERSTANDING

"omg i love you zuko!!!!"yelled katara as she draped her arms around zuko in a tight embrace.
zuko hugged back smiling.I dropped the panda lilly i was holding and ran away from them.

this seen kept playing over and over in my had been 3 hours since i saw it happen right before my loves he loves her back.i saw how he smiled as she hugged him.i was in tears,my heart broken into tiny pieces.

i set down the ink and parchment and reread what i had soul felt empty as i read the poem i had toph knew i wrote poetry she probably would laugh her head off.

suddenly a knock came at the door.

"aang are you in here?"came katara's voice from the other side of the door.

"ya im in here."i replied.

"may i come in?"she asked.

i hesited for a minute."ya you can."i finally responded.

the door opened and katara stepped through and shut it behind her.

"aang whats wrong?we have been looking for you for a while now."she asked

i looked away from her and down at my came and sat next to the parchment on the paper she picked it up.

"may i?"she asked.

she wanted to read what was on it.

i just nodded my head slowly giving her the ok to read what i had written,after all she loves zuko not me so why should it matter if she sees what i wrote.

slowly katara unraveled the parchment and started to read it

HEARTBREAK

the sun is out yet there is no light
its warm yet all i feel is cold
it used to be bright i used to have light
i used to be warm but not any more
no longer do i feel the warmth or light
even when firebending there is still no warmth or light
i am no longer allowed the pleasure it brings
dark is what my life is now
dark and cold
darker then the darkest cave and colder then any place on earth
you are probably wondering why
your probably going to ask whats wrong
but to truly understand what made me so
you must go through what i have
and then only then will you know
just how it feels to be heart broken

katara gasped as she put the parchment down.

"aang what happend? who heart you?why are you heartbroken?plz you know you can tell me any think."she said as she grabbed my hands.

i looked uo into her buitiful ocean blue eyes.

"you did this to and zuko,i heard you telling him you love him.i saw how you hugged him.i have loved you since the day you saved me from that icebrrgh i guess that means nothing to you seeing as you love zuko."i managed to say through crys.

"aang i dont love found my necklace aang.i had been looking for it all day.i as just thanking him.i dont love him...."she stopped in midsentince before continuing."like i love are the one i love aang.

"you...you dont love zuko?i asked

"no i dont love zuko."she calmly replied.

i wipped the tears from my eyes.

"you love me?"i asked.

"yes aang."she said with a smile."i love you."

and with that she pulled me close and kissed me gently on the lips.
