"Choco…latay cah-ku…huh?" Kagome smiled as the hanyou shook the plastic container, "what's that Kagome?"

"Don't worry about it," she giggled flipping her raven hair over her shoulder. He huffed as the girl gently took the plastic container from him. The smell of lilac dragged him into a state of utter enchantment. My Kagome…he thought before mentally slapping himself. Hojo's Kagome, he grudgingly admitted. Whatever he'd rip that human apart if he said anything. Hojo was sitting on Kagome's bed watching me. Inuyasha ignored him and watched her stand gracefully. She ruffled his hair and he blushed. Hojo growled. He glared. Hojo shut up. Haha, one for Inuyasha none for Hobo. Hojo took her hand and kissed her, three for Hobo -9 for Inuyasha.

"Well Kagome, I'll be going remember we have lots to do," Inuyasha mumbled. She nodded and hugged him.

"Okay, give me an hour, kay?" He nodded and walked out. Kagome's mom grabbed him by the front of his shirt.

"Get that boy out of my house," she snarled. He sighed, what could he do?

"Beat the living snot out of him," she answered. He raised an eyebrow at her. Was she serious.

"You gotta be kidding me…" she snorted.

"Just don't get blood on the sheets," He shook his head at her.

"What about your daughter's happiness?"

"If I hear 'good morning Mrs. Higurashi' ONE more time…" she let her sentence trail off, "besides I'm her mother, I know what's best for her. She just wants to make you jealous." He snorted, loudly.

"As if," with that he left, he wandered until he hit the well and Kagome's light voice hit his ears.

"Hojo, stop! Inuyasha's gone, let go of me!" He wanted to ignore her for anger was welling up in his heart. Why didn't she just say something? She screamed and her mother's foot steps rushed up the stairs then a body rolled down the stairs. He couldn't let it go on anymore. Mrs. Higurashi was like his mother. He launched himself into the room and literally through Hojo out of the house through the wall and out onto the pavment.

"I'll kill you," Inuyasha yelled. He landed directly over him. Hojo watched as death loomed over him like a dog eared shadow. Ever bone in his body was broken. His eyes where haunted.

"I loved her…so much. Why did she have to love you? You don't deserve her, you'll never be able…the be there…you'll have to go back…one" he chocked up blood, "day… and when you did. I could've been there for her…was that too much to ask for?" Inuyasha looked away from the human.

"I don't usually talk to my victims…but I know I don't deserve her, not that it's any of your business, but I do love her and I'll NEVER leave her. The well can't keep from her." Hojo stared off into nothing.

"Don't hurt her…" Hojo pleaded before his dull eyes closed and his small chest stopped bleeding.

"Keh, I won't…and yeah, I'll tell her you're sorry," He snorted. He bound back into the house to see about Kagome and her mother. Kagome was holding her mom on her lap.

"Inuyasha…she's not breathing," Inuyasha sighed and took Mrs. Higurashi's wrist and bit it. Slowly his dog ears vanished; his silver hair turned black his amber eyes soaked into a violet. His claws disappeared and her mother's eyes opened. Kagome watched as her mother sat up and hugged Inuyasha tight.

"Thank you," He nodded. He felt him self being pulled. The well wanted him back. NO! Kagome noticed him shaking his head, she could feel it. He paled. He had two choices, go back or die. He saved her mom, he would forever be in her heart.

"Mom…"

"Go Kagome," She nodded and hugged her mom once more.

"Love you, c'mon Inuyasha," he struggled to stand up. She dragged him into the well house then jumped in….
