When Yuuri first met Tatsumi Matsuri, she neither liked nor disliked her-- to be honest, she hadn't really made much of an impression on her. She was too busy trying to figure out the eldest son's true intentions and keeping an eye on Domon just in case his temper got the better of him (again) to see anything worth noting about the girl in the skirt and orange jacket identical to what her brothers wore... although she had appreciated it when she had reminded her older sibling that it was Timeranger, not Timeman.

It wasn't until the two of them (along with Ayase and one of Matsuri's brothers) were trapped in Pierre's dimension that Matsuri finally got her attention. It hadn't been much, and there was no way that Matsuri could've realized that her simple affirmation in the strength of her family would have made something twist in Yuuri's gut, but it had happened nonetheless.

It was the first time Yuuri told someone outside her teammates about her family-- and while the four of them were still fighting for their lives, too. She wasn't sure why, but she wanted Matsuri to know.

Now that the case was closed, and the Tatsumi siblings had gone back to their respective jobs, Yuuri found herself wanting to know more about her. All her life, Yuuri had kept her memories of her parents and Mei to herself, but now, slowly, she was wondering if she should change that. However, even though she was close to her friends, she knew this was something she couldn't discuss with them. If she spoke to Domon (who had gone insane from missing his family) or Sion (who had no family), it would amount to pure selfishness. And she had no idea where to begin with Ayase. As for Tatsuya... she had, once, but if she did again... it would bring up other memories, ones she wasn't willing to discuss.

She wanted to talk to Matsuri. She wanted that smile, that reminder that families were strong and believed in each other, and that nothing could break that... not even death.

... And she could too, now that she thought about it. She had simply convinced herself that she was too busy. But not counting her stubbornness, there really was nothing stopping her from finding the only daughter of the Tatsumi family, was there?

Maybe it was time for her to change things after all.
