Well this is my first ever story on fanfic, let alone Valduggery Story3 I've been reading some pretty great stuff so i figured why not? Please take it easy on my first try :/ I really hope you guys like it(:
***Valkyrie PleasantSparrow***
He was gone. He had promised never to leave her yet there he lay, lifeless.
"Come on Skul, wake up. You can't expect to get rid of me that easily," Valkyrie whimpered as tears fell onto his bare skull. His beautiful and much loved fedora had disappeared during the attack.
"You can't just leave me Skulduggery, you hear me? Who is gonna protect me? Or cheer me up? Or be my best friend and partner? I have so much to tell you, Skul. You can't leave now." She couldn't stop the flood of tears from escaping her eyes. She could feel her heart breaking within her.
She looked at him in his pin-stripe suit, now torn to mere shreds. He scarf dangled from his neck as his skull rested in her arms. She couldn't do this. She couldn't lose him.
"Im in love with you, Skulduggery Pleasant- you hear that? I LOVE you, and I can't lose you- not now, not ever! You were able to come back before, Skul. You can do it again. You weren't done here the last time, and you still aren't you need to come back to me." She kissed him tenderly on his teeth, remembering how long she had wanted to do that.
That's when it happened. All of a sudden there was a flash of blinding white light. She leaned back and shielded her eyes when the impossible happen. She felt a abrupt jerk in her lap then another one, stronger this time.
Skulduggery started to tremble madly, shaking so violently that Valkyrie nearly let him go. As quickly as it started, it stopped without warning. She hesitantly opened her eyes and was amazed by what she saw.
He had done it! He had really done it…again! The infamous Detective Skulduggery Pleasant had come back to life- for the second time!
He moaned quite loudly and shook his head. Without any forewarning, he found himself in the bone-crushing embrace of Valkyrie Cain. "Val?" was all he managed to say weakly.
"Oh Skul, I thought I had lost you!" she shouted, not once letting him out of her grip.
"sorry to disappoint, but you're never going to lose me Val." he said with a smile that showed in his voice.
"Don't you EVER do that to me again Skulduggery!"
"You know, I wont always be able to come back to life my dear Valkyrie," he said before promptly getting smacked in the back of his head.
They slowly stood up and hugged once more for quite some time, nothing at all being said. Neither wanted to break the embrace. Eventually they began to walk to the slightly damaged Bentley.
"So what's this I hear about you being in love with me?" he said before lifting her chin up with two fingers and kissing her in a way that told her that he would never leave her side again…
