It was near the middle of the night, and the Akatsuki were celebrating over capturing their latest tailed beast. After a few cups full of alcohol, everyone was a little out of it at this point. Even their normally stoic leader, Pein, had fallen to the effects of beer.

As he poured his tenth glass of alcohol, Hidan turned to their leader and asked, "Hey, pops, I gots a question for ya! Have ya...ever been in love or somethin'?" Pein rolled his eyes and snapped, "Of course I have, you stupid bitch!"

"Heh! I bet it's that old woman next door that always offers you cookies, isn't it? You want to get in her pants!" Kakuzu cackled, his head pounding like crazy. Zetsu smacked the money-loving weirdo in the back of the head and shouted, "NAH! HE'S IN LOVE WITH KONAN-CHAN! AM I RIGHT? AM I RIGHT?"

Pein smirked and nodded his head. "Yeah...she's a beauty all right...too bad she's gay..." Deidara muttered, who had been throwing up behind the couch.

"Who the fuck told you that shit?" Hidan growled.

"You did, you idiot!" Deidara snapped before breaking out into a fit of giggles. 'Damn...we're really hung over...' Pein thought as he rubbed his temples. His head was aching and his eyesight was disorienting, yet he kind of enjoyed the feeling.

Holding onto Zetsu's shoulder, Sasori picked himself up and asked, "Have you gotten together with her yet, Leader-sama?" Despite being rather hung over himself, Sasori was actually the least drunk there. Pein shook his head in response.

"It's too difficult as it is," Pein replied, "What with our missons and always on the go, starting a relationship is impossible..." Kisame, who seemed to be licking Samehada as if it was a popsicle, snapped, "You loser! If it was me, I woulda fucked her on the spot!"

"A monster like you would do something so filthy and heartless as that!" spat Itachi, who was also a little tipsy from too much alcohol consumption. "Hey, where's Tobi?" Deidara asked, suddenly ruining the conversation. Pein sighed and thought, 'Those fools don't even know...Tobi is actually the one leading this group...'

"Hey, since we're talking about romance and shit, let's all say who we love the most!" Zetsu suggested as he finished up his seventh bottle of beer. Hidan let out a cackle and exclaimed, "That's too easy, dumbass! Pein likes Konan, I like Kakuzu, Kakuzu likes me, Itachi likes Kisame, Kisame likes Itachi, Deidara likes Sasori, Sasori likes Deidara, and you like that stupid potted plant in the hallway! It's all too obvious!"

'Damn! I didn't know so many of them were gay! And...I wonder about those other guys...the ones in the hidden chamber...' Pein wondered as he watched Zetsu try his best to strangle Hidan. Deciding to get some rest, Pein got up and headed out into the hallway.

From within the shadows, a pair of arms reached out and grabbed his hand. Slowly, Konan stepped out of the darkness with a sly grin on her face. Pein smirked and kissed her lightly on the lips.

"C'mon, let's go to my room..." Konan purred as she pulled Pein into the shadows. Of course, Pein didn't have any objections to Konan's little perferted plan...
