"What did you do to Dash?" I demanded.
"Well . . . You know the Box Ghost?"
"Beware!" Called the Box Ghost, floating toward Dash.
"DO AVAYB!" Dash was screaming like a little girl.
"Beware! I shall take over the boxes and rule the world!" The Box Ghost announced.
"You're a genius," I whispered to Sam.
"Just watch." She hissed back.
Sam had somehow trapped Dash and the Box Ghost in an escape proof room. She had made Dash a special costume for the occasions. It was dozens of boxes stuck together. He resembled a robot. Boxes on his feet, hands, head, arms, body, legs, ears, anywhere visable.
"I shall take over the boxes and rule the world!" The Box Ghost cackled again, once more moving toward Dash.
Dash screamed, flung his arms up in the air (as best as he could) and ran into the wall, since he had been looking over his shoulder and the so-not-scary Box Ghost.
"BEWARE!" The Box Ghost yelled, and the boxes around Dash glowed. "BEWARE!" He yelled again.
Dash began to float in the air and the box costume fell away, leaving Dash in only a pair of . . .
"Did you do that or was he already wearing those?" I asked, pointing.
"He did that one on his own." Sam whispered back. She pressed a button and let the Box Ghost loose. Dash remained frozen on the ground until he was sure that the ghost was gone. Then he left. He reappeared in the school yard, where everyone was gathered.
He arrived in a pink thong.
